PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll held in Bull’s on 28th September, 1921, for the purpose of raising a loan of £6,000 for the purchase of Mr. F. J. Mansell’s electric light plant, the following votes were recorded: For the proposal, 47; against the proposal 36.
I therefore declare the proposal carried.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of October, 1921.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the twenty-ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, regulations were made under the authority of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), fixing charges for the receiving, despatching, conveying, and delivering of postal packets:
And whereas it is expedient to amend such charges in the manner hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the charges fixed by the above-mentioned Order in Council in respect of inland packets in so far as they apply to circulars or other printed matter addressed merely “The Householder,” and in lieu thereof doth hereby fix the charges set forth in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby direct that this Order in Council shall be read together with and form part of the above-recited Order in Council, and shall have effect on and after the date of the publication of this Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette.
