THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

District, was, inter alia, set apart as and for a provisional State forest in terms of section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto (being part of the land so set apart) is required for settlement, and it is expedient that the said Proclamation should be revoked in so far as it relates to the land described in the said Schedule:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by clauses (b) and (c) of subsection three of section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, hereinbefore referred to, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Description of Land withdrawn from Provisional State Forests.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section 4, Block III, Ohinemuri Survey District, Thames County, containing by admeasurement 492 acres, more or less, and being portion of provisional State forest set apart by Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 25th day of March, 1920, page 924. Bounded towards the north-west by a road along the Moana Anuanu Stream, 430·8, 887·7, 714·4, 724·4, 585·2, 403·9, and 527·5 links; towards the east by Section 1 of Block III, Ohinemuri Survey District, 12568·9 links; towards the south and west by provisional State forest reserve, 5507·6, 1067·9, 278·2, 141·2, 1304·7, 197·5, 321·7, 222·9, 222·9, 231·6, 127·2, 277·8, 382·2, 284·7, 549·4, 135·1, 189·5, 577·9, 466·5, 192·8, 591·4, 904·2, 772·4, 132·3, 208·2, 1163·1, 733·7, and 433·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the atlas No. A. 026, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Land in Wellington Land District declared to be subject to Section 127 of the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Land Board of the Wellington Land District has recommended that the Crown tenant of the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto should be afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which he has no control preventing the profitable occupation of such land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further fix two years from the date mentioned in the said Schedule as the period for which the said land shall be exempt from payment of rent.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 11, Block II, Hunua Survey District: Area, 209 acres 2 roods 13 perches. 1st July, 1921.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1921.

Land proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section eleven of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1920, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation approved in Executive Council, declare that any national-endowment land disposed of under the Land Act, 1908, and held under lease or license by any person who is competent to acquire land under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, shall cease to be national-endowment land:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, which is so held on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1908, should cease to be national-endowment land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section eleven, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 37, Block VI, Opuawhanga Survey District: Area, 32 acres 0 roods 21 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of October, 1921.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.
SECTION 8, Block IV, Whirinaki Survey District: Area, 17 acres 2 roods.
