| A PROCLAMATION. | A PROCLAMATION. |
| WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street and road: | WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land at Frankton, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway: |
| Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street and road, and that the said street and road shall be under the control of the Hamilton Borough Council and the Waipa County Council respectively, and shall be maintained by the said Councils in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Councils. | Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned. |

Approximate areas of the pieces of land: 1·9 perches, 5·6 perches, 2 roods 37·3 perches, and 1 rood 29·1 perches. | Portions of road, Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District, Waipa County, and Borough of Hamilton. (S.O. 21262 blue.)
COUNTY OF WAIPA. | In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 28961, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Approximate areas of the pieces of land: 1 rood 4 perches and 2·4 perches. |
Portions of railway reserve, situated in Pukete and Te Rapa Parishes, Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District. (S.O. 21262, blue.) | Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of September, 1921.
