County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Taita Road, part Dargaville–Opanake Settlement Road, the said Hobson County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny three farthings (1¾d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Taita Special Rating District, comprising the following area: Starting from the Kaihu Stream at the north-western corner of Opanake No. 2m 2 Block, Block II, Kaihu S.D.; thence by the north-western boundary of said Opanake 2m 2, and by the southern and north-western boundary of Opanake No. 1a Block; thence by northern boundary of Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, of Block III, Kaihu S.D.; thence by part north-eastern boundary of said Section 9; thence by western boundary of Sections 15 and 18 of Block III, Kaihu S.D., and of Section 13 of Block XV, Tutamoa S.D.; thence by northern boundary of Sections 13 and 14 of XV, Tutamoe S.D.; thence by eastern boundary of Section 14 of said Block XV, Tutamoe S.D., and of Sections 14, 2, and 3 of Block IV, Kaihu S.D.; thence by south-eastern boundary of said Section 3 of Block IV, Kaihu S.D., and of Sections 16, 13, 12, 11, 10, of Block III, Kaihu S.D.; thence by north-eastern boundary of Opanake No. 1a Block, and by part north-eastern boundary of Section 3 of Block VII, Kaihu S.D.; thence by northern, eastern, and southern boundary of Section 4 of Block VII, Kaihu S.D.; thence by southern boundary of Sections 3, 2, of Block VII, Kaihu S.D., to the Kaihu Stream; thence by the said Kaihu Stream to the starting-point. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

HOBSON COUNTY.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hobson County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of drainage-works in the Kaihu Valley, the said Hobson County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence halfpenny (3½d.) in the pound on all lands Class A, of one penny three farthings (1¾d.) in the pound on all lands Class B, and of seven-eighths of a penny (⅞d.) in the pound on all lands Class C, in the Kaihu Valley Drainage District, comprising the following area: Starting from the intersection of the Dargaville Borough boundary by the Kaihu Valley Railway line; thence towards the north-east generally by the said borough boundary until it intersects the Dargaville–Opanake Settlement Road; thence by the said road until it intersects the eastern boundary of Section 2 of Block VII, Kaihu Survey District; thence by the eastern and north-eastern boundary of said Section 2, and thence by north-eastern boundary of Section 1 of said Block VII, and thence by the north-eastern boundary of Opanake No. 2m 2, Opanake No. 2m 3, Opanake No. 2m 4, and Opanake No. 2h to the Kaihu Stream; thence towards the south generally by the Kaihu Stream to the south-eastern corner of Opanake No. 2f; thence by the southern boundaries of said Opanake No. 2f and of Kai Iwi Kauri-gum Reserve to the north-eastern corner of Section 83 of Taharoa Subdivision of Blocks I and V, Kaihu Survey District; thence by the eastern boundary of Sections 83, 66, 65, 35, 24, of Taharoa Subdivision; thence by a road to the north-eastern corner of Section 41 of Taharoa Subdivision; thence by the eastern boundary of Sections 41 and 1 of said Taharoa Subdivision; thence towards the east generally by the Mangatara West Coast Road to Dargaville Borough boundary; thence by the said borough boundary to the starting-point. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of forming and metalling Bayly’s Road, the said Hobson County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence (3d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of Bayly’s Road Special Rating Area, comprising the following sections: Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 20, 21, 22, 41 to 51 both inclusive, 53 to 58 both inclusive, of Taharoa Estate, in Blocks XIII, XIV, XV, Kaihu S.D., and part Kaihu No. 1 Block (4,135 acres, G. T. Bayly), of Blocks XIII and XIV, Kaihu S.D.; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

OHURA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Ohura County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £200, authorized to be raised by the Ohura County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of metalling for the first time portions of the Mirohuia–Matiere Road between Matiere and the Mangakaihitea Road junction, the said Ohura County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/32nd of a penny in the pound on the whole of the Otangiwai Special Rating Area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the fourteenth day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
