DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between ALBERT GEORGE TOOHEY and EDWARD ERNEST OLIVER, carrying on business as Bicycle Dealers at Main Street, Lower Hutt, under the style or firm of “Toohey and Oliver,” has been dissolved as from the date hereof.

BOROUGH OF BRUNNER.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Brunner Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of one thousand pounds (£1,000), authorized to be raised by the Brunner Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the reconstruction of the Wallsend-Taylorville Bridge, the said Brunner Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ninepence in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Brunner, comprising the whole of the said Borough of Brunner; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of November and the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

LOWER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the loan of £30,000, authorized to be raised by the Lower Hutt Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the erection of pole-lines, cables, pole types, substations, street lights, house service connections, house and service meters, for the purpose of completing a system of electrical reticulation within the Borough of Lower Hutt, and for payment of compensation, engineering, and contingencies in connection therewith, the Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 27/40ths of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the loan of £64,000, authorized to be raised by the Lower Hutt Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the taking or purchase of a gasworks-site, the erection of gasworks, the purchase of all necessary plant in connection therewith, and the necessary alterations and the enlargement of gas-mains, and to provide for the proper system of reticulation in the borough in connection with the said gas- works, and for payment of compensation, engineering, and contingencies relating thereto, the said Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. and 11/25ths of a penny (one penny and eleven twenty-fifths of a penny) in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the Borough of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

GOLDEN BELT GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Golden Belt Gold-mining Company (Limited) duly convened and held at No. 108 Victoria Arcade, Auckland, on 8th August, 1921, the subjoined resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company duly convened and held at the same place on 29th August, 1921, the subjoined resolution was duly confirmed, viz.:—

“That the Golden Belt Gold-mining Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.”

And at the last above-mentioned meeting HENRY GILFILLAN, of Auckland, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal points: Block II, Kurow Survey District, starting in Malcolm’s Creek on part Section 2, Block II, Kurow District, the property of Annie D. Fraser, and running in a northerly direction through the property of Harold M. Preston, being part Section 1, Block III, Kurow District, to the boundary of Charles Harris property, being part Section 4, Block III, Kurow District (a branch race being taken into the said property of the said Charles Harris); thence in a north-easterly direction across the main road and into the property of the said Harold M. Preston, being Section 8, Block III, Kurow District, for a distance of 400 yards; thence in a northerly direction for a distance of 200 yards; thence in an easterly direction for a distance of 500 yards, and again in a northerly direction for a distance of 400 yards to the boundary-line of said Section 8 and Section 7, Block III, Kurow District, the property of the said Charles Grant; thence in a northerly direction through said Section 7 for a distance of 500 yards being the terminal point.
