PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1908, the undersigned. Rowland Alfred Parker, William Toms, Jane Birch, & John Bennetts, all of Roxburgh, Fruitgrowers, hereby apply for a license for a change of head and alteration of course for a branch water-race as specified in the Schedule hereto.
Precise time of marking out privilege applied for: 4 p.m., 12/7/21.

NORTHERN JUDICIAL DISTRICT.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and its amendments; and of the OVERSEAS SALES AGENCY (LIMITED), a company duly incorporated under the said Act, having its registered office situated at 9 Commerce Street, Auckland, in New Zealand, carrying on business as Merchants (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above company by the Supreme Court was on the 25th day of August, 1921, presented to Mr. Justice Adams, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by the Bank of New South Wales (incorporated under the Bank of New South Wales Act, 1861), carrying on business at Auckland in New Zealand and elsewhere, a creditor of the said company.; and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on the 9th day of September, 1921; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing by himself or his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the said petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

WOODVILLE BRASS BAND (INCORPORATED).
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special general meeting of the above-mentioned society held at Woodville on the 11th day of July, 1921, the following special resolutions were passed, and at a subsequent special general meeting of the said society held at Woodville on the 15th day of August, 1921, the said resolutions were duly confirmed, viz. :—
(1.) That the Woodville Brass Band (Incorporated) be voluntarily wound up under the provisions of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.
(2.) That after payment of all debts and liabilities of the society, and costs, charges, and expenses of or incidental to the winding-up, the whole of the surplus assets of the society be handed over and paid to the Woodville Borough Council for the use and purposes of the Woodville Municipal Band.
(3.) That Mr. MARTIN MURRAY, of Woodville, Farmer, be appointed Liquidator of the society at the remuneration of £5.
