THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

PRIVATE BILL.

In the matter of a proposed Bill or Act intituled “An Act
to enable the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Wellington
to sell and dispose of certain Lands in the Archdiocese
of Wellington, and to apply the Net Proceeds thereof in
or towards the Purchase of other Lands in the Arch-
diocese, and in or towards the Erection of Churches
and School Buildings, and to authorize the Raising of
Money on the Security of the Lands so acquired or any
of them.”

WHEREAS, in virtue of the provisions of the Roman
Catholic Lands Act, 1876, as amended by the Roman
Catholic Lands Extension Act, 1890, the Roman Catholic
Archbishop of Wellington is a corporation sole in whom are
vested all lands belonging to the Roman Catholic Church in the
Archdiocese of Wellington: And whereas there is in various
parts of the said archdiocese lands which by reason of altered
circumstances are no longer suitable for the purposes for
which they were originally acquired: Notice is hereby
given that, within fourteen days of the meeting of the
General Assembly of New Zealand to be held next after the
date of this notice, a petition will be presented to the said
General Assembly praying and applying for leave to bring
in a Private Bill to be called “The Roman Catholic Arch-
bishop of Wellington Empowering Act, 1921.”

The objects of the said application and Bill are—
To enable the Archbishop to sell the lands described in
the Schedule thereto, or any of them, and to expend the
proceeds thereof in the purchase of other lands in the arch-
diocese, and to erect churches and school buildings thereon,
and to borrow money on the security of lands so acquired
or of any of them.

A copy of the said petition and Bill will be deposited in
the office of the Examiner of Standing Orders either before
or within fourteen days of the commencement of the said
session.

the same to be true, and by virtue of the Justices of the
Peace Act, 1908.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
subsisting between the undersigned OLIVER HOLMES
DILLON and CHARLES STUART TAYLOR, of Riversdale, Motor-
garage Proprietors, under the style of “Dillon and Taylor,”
has been dissolved as from the first day of July, 1921, and
that the business will henceforth be carried on by the said
Charles Stuart Taylor.

All debts owing to the said Partnership are to be paid to
the said Oliver Holmes Dillon, who will also discharge all
accounts owing by the firm. All moneys owing to the firm
must be paid before 15th August, 1921.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

AS from the 25th day of October, 1920, the Partnership
business carried on by A. S. ORMSBY, Junior, and
ANTHONY ORMSBY, under the style of “Ormsby Bros., Mail
Contractors, Pirongia,” is dissolved. The business is now
carried on by Anthony Ormsby alone.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and in the
matter of the Counties Act, 1920.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wairoa County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-entitled
Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the formation
and construction of a public road at Opoutama; and for that
purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto is required
to be taken. And notice is likewise given that a plan of the
said land is deposited at the office of the said Council in Queen
Street in the Borough of Wairoa, and is open for inspection
(without fee) by all person during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected are called upon to set forth in writing
any well-grounded objections they may have to the execution
of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, and
to send such writing, within forty days from the first publica-
tion of this notice, to the said Council at its office aforesaid.

Dated this third day of August, 1921.

ALL that piece of land, containing three acres, more or less,
situate in Block III of the Mahanga Survey District, being
part of the block known as Ihaka Whaanga’s Reserve. As
the same is delineated in a plan deposited in the office of the
Chief Surveyor at Napier under No. 650 (green), and therein
coloured pink.

ALL the affairs of the ROOFING TILE AND BRICK COMPANY
(LIMITED), in Liquidation, having been fully wound up,
and the Liquidator having drawn up the accounts showing
the manner of such winding-up, notice is hereby given that a
meeting of the said company will be held at 66 Endeans
Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, on Thursday, the 18th
day of August, 1921, at 2 p.m., for the purpose of laying
before it such accounts and for giving an opportunity for
making full inquiries and explanations regarding the same.
