Declaring Land to be no longer subject to Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 28th day of July, 1921.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR F. H. D. BELL, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section ninety-six of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Governor-General in Council may from time to time by Order in Council declare that any land subject to Part XIV or XV of the Native Land Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and vested in a Maori Land Board, shall no longer be subject to such Parts of that Act, and shall be revested in the Native owners thereof:

And whereas the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is at present subject to Part XIV of the said Act, and is vested in the Tokerau District Maori Land Board, which Board has recommended that such land be no longer subject as aforesaid and that it be revested in the Native owners:

And whereas the Governor-General is satisfied that the said land is not subject to any lease, license, contract for sale, or other alienation, and that no moneys are charged on the said land or on the revenue thereof in accordance with the said Act or under any other authority:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section ninety-six of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall no longer be subject to Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909, and shall be revested in the Native owners thereof.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land, containing 7 acres, more or less, and known as Rahuikotuku No. 2 Block, situate in the Kawakawa Survey District, in the Land District of North Auckland.

Declaring Portion of the Waikaka Road, in the Ohura County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 28th day of July, 1912.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Waikaka Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Ohura County, commencing at a point about twenty-four chains north of the southern boundary of Section 8, Block XI, Aria Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction, adjoining or passing through part of the aforesaid Section 8, Block XI, Aria Survey District, and terminating at the crossing of a small stream near its junction with the Waikaka Stream, which point is about twenty chains south of the northern boundary of the said section; being a distance of forty chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52152, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Murumuru Road, in the Waimarino County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 30th day of July, 1921.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE D. H. GUTHRIE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County, known as the Murumuru Road, commencing at a point twenty chains west of the boundary between Sections 4 and 5, Block XII, Whirinaki Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through part of the said Section 5, and terminating at a point sixteen chains north-east of the boundary between Section 6, Block XI, and Section 5, Block XII, Whirinaki Survey District; being a distance of sixty chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52262, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Rotokare (Ngai re) Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 1st day of August, 1921.

THE HONOURABLE W. NOSWORTHY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THOMAS BUDDLE CRUMP,
OSWALD JAMES HAWKEN, M.P.,
SAMUEL HAROLD JENKINS,
ARTHUR CLIFFORD PEASE,

CHARLES ANDERSON WILKINSON,

as from the twenty-third day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, to be the Rotokare (Ngai re) Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, at half past four o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Pease’s Buildings, Bridge Street, Eltham, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

ROTOKARE (NGAIRE) DOMAIN.—TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that parcel of land in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 574 acres, more or less, being Section 1, Block XII, Ngai re Survey District. Bounded generally towards the north by Sections 10 and 2, Block XII, Ngai re Survey District, Rotokare Road, and Section 3, Block XII aforesaid, 10998·6 links; towards the south-east by Tutaeariari No. 1 Block, Block XVI, Ngai re Survey District, 7464·4 links; towards the south-west by Section 32, Block XV, Ngai re Survey District, 8430·2 links; and generally towards the north-west by Sections 5 and 6, Block XI, Ngai re Survey District, 8758·9 links: excluding therefrom the Rotokare Road intersecting the section: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
