SCHEDULE.
ALL that street, situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as Ngahere Terrace, commencing at its junction with Cheshire Street, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Lots 11 and 10 of Allotment 2, Section 95, Suburbs of Auckland. As the said street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49901, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Christchurch City Council on the sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one—viz., “The Christchurch City Council, being the local authority having control of Bath Street in the City of Christchurch, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the said street,” such street being described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that street in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, known as Bath Street, situated between Durham Street and Colombo Street. As the said street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 51930, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section nine of the Explosive and Dangerous Goods Amendment Act, 1920, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint the several local authorities specified in the Schedule hereto to be licensing authorities for the purposes of the said Act within their respective districts.

Regulations relating to Essences.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day of July, 1921.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend, in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto, the regulations made under the said Act on the fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the Gazette on the sixth day of the same month; and doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall come into force on the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.
SCHEDULE.
(a.) PARAGRAPH 36 of Part II of the said regulations (relating to essences) is hereby amended by omitting the words “two-tenths” in clause (5), and substituting therefor the words “four-tenths.”
(b.) Clauses (7), (8), and (9) of paragraph 36 of Part II of the said regulations are hereby revoked, and the following substituted therefor:—
Vanilla Essence.
(7.) Vanilla essence shall be an alcoholic extract of vanilla. It shall contain not less than sixty parts per centum by volume of alcohol. It shall contain in one hundred cubic centimetres the soluble matter from not less than ten grammes of vanilla bean. It shall contain not less than one-tenth of one part per centum of natural vanillin. It shall conform with the general standard for essences, except that it may contain sugar or glycerine.
Vanilla Substitutes.—Labelling.
(8.) There shall be written in the label attached to every package containing a substance which consists wholly or in part of a substitute for vanilla or for vanilla essence, in bold-faced sans-serif capital letters of larger size than any other printed matter on the label, the words “Imitation Vanilla” or “Imitation Vanilla Essence,” as the case may be.
Prohibition.
(9.) The word “Vanilla” or words “Vanilla Essence” shall not be written in the statement or label attached to a package containing a substance which consists wholly or in part of a substitute for vanilla or for vanilla essence, unless conjoined with the word “Imitation” in the following form: “Imitation Vanilla” or “Imitation Vanilla Essence,” as the case may be.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth—subject to the conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto, and to the regulations made under section two of the aforesaid Act and dated the twenty-second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of the same month, or any regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor (and hereinafter collectively referred to as “the regulations”), and which regulations shall be deemed to be incorporated herein—hereby authorize the Wanganui Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”) to erect and maintain electric lines for lighting, power, and heating purposes within the area of supply hereinafter described, such electric lines at present proposed to be erected being
