Land withdrawn from State-forest Reservation.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred, and gazetted on the eighteenth day of that month, certain lands in Ruahine and Umutoi Survey Districts, Wellington Land District, were, inter alia, set apart as and for a State forest in terms of the New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto (being part of the lands so set apart) is open land, and it is expedient that the said Proclamation should be revoked in so far as it relates to the land described in the said Schedule:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section twenty-eight of the State Forests Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred, hereinbefore referred to, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

Description of Land withdrawn from State Forest.

All those parcels of land in the Wellington Land District, situated in Block XIII, Ruahine Survey District, containing a total area of 317 acres, be the same a little more or less, being, firstly, Lots 1 and 2 on plan numbered 259/20, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington; secondly, a strip of land one chain wide intersecting the aforesaid Lot 2, adjacent to the northernmost bank of the Mangawharariki Stream; thirdly, a strip of land one chain wide also intersecting the aforesaid Lot 2, and adjacent to the southernmost bank of the Mangawharariki Stream and a portion of the north-eastern bank of a tributary thereto; and, fourthly, that portion of the bed of the Mangawharariki Stream adjacent to the portion of land hereinbefore secondly described, the portions of land firstly herein described being coloured red, those secondly and thirdly described being coloured brown, and the portion fourthly described being coloured blue on the above-mentioned plan. Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of June, 1921.

Additional Land near Topunui taken for the Purposes of the North Auckland Railway and for Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Auckland Railway to take further land near Topunui, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for road-diversion in connection therewith:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of June, 1921.

Additional Land at Te Kumi taken for the Purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to take further land at Te Kumi, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 3 roods 19·84 perches.

Portion of Te Kumi No. 10B, Block XV, Orahiri Survey District, Waitomo County. (S.O. 21664, blue.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 29243, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of June, 1921.

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street in the Borough of Riverton.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Western Railways, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Riverton Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
