of that road to a point opposite the southernmost corner of
Section 24, Block VII, Manganui Survey District; thence to
and along the south-western boundary of that section, part
of the south-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block VI, to
its southernmost corner, and along its south-western boundary
to and along the middle of the Makino Road, to a point in
line with the south-western boundary of Section 2, said Block
VI; thence to and along that boundary and the south-
western boundaries of Section 1, Block VI, and Section 4,
Block II, part of the north-western boundary of the last-
mentioned section, and the south-western boundary of
Section 3, Block I, Manganui Survey District, and. that
boundary produced to the middle of the Ruatiti-Erua Road,
and along the middle of that road to a point near the south-
western corner of Section 3, Block II, Manganui Survey
District; thence to and along the western boundary of that
section and part of the southern boundary of Section 8,
Block XIII, Kaitieke Survey District, to the Kokako Road,
to and along the middle of that road to a point in line with
the south-western boundary of Section 5, said Block XIII;
thence to and along the south-western boundaries of Sec-
tions 5 and 3 and the north-western boundary of Section 4,
Block XIII aforesaid, and its production to the middle of the
Maungaroa Road, along the middle of that road to the northern-
most corner of Section 3, Block IV, Whirinaki Survey Dis-
trict; thence by the northern boundaries of Blocks IV, III,
II, and I, Whirinaki Survey District, to the Wanganui River,
the place of commencement, excluding the Manunui Town
District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 28th day of June, 1921.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section thirty-four of the War
Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918, I, John
Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the
Schedule hereto as and for a provisional State forest.


SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON FOREST CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area of land in the Hawke's Bay Land District, situated
in Block IV, Hikurangi, and Block I, Mata Survey Districts,
and containing by admeasurement 2,402 acres, more or less,
bounded as follows: Commencing at a point the junction of
the Makakapanga and Umukokako streams in Block IV,
Hikurangi Survey District; thence in a southerly direction
generally by the said stream to a point in line with the north-
western boundary of the Aorangiwai No. 1 Block, situated
in Block I, Mata Survey District, by the said line produced
to and by the north-western boundary of the aforesaid
Aorangiwai Block to its westernmost corner; thence along
the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block I, Mata
Survey District, to and by the northern boundary of State
Forest No. 28 to its junction with the western boundary of
Tapuwaeroa No. 2B Block; by the eastern boundary of the
said block, and the southern boundary of Tapuwaeroa No.
2A 2 Block to its junction with the Umukokako Stream, and
by that stream to the point of commencement. As the same
is delineated on plan No. 87, deposited in the Head Office,
State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 27th day of June, 1921.

AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 900 acres, more or less, situated
in Block XV, Russell Survey District, and Block III, Hukere-
nui Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing
at the south-eastern corner of Section 17, Block III, Hukerenui
Survey District, bounded towards the south-west by the said
Section 17 and the abutment of a public road, 6000 links, to
the Waiotu Stream; thence towards the north generally by
the said stream to its junction with the Mokotuna Stream;
thence by the last-mentioned stream to the southern bound-
ary of the Taumatahinau Block, by the said block and the
Paremata-Mokau Block, 2300 links, to the western boundary
of Block IV, Hukerenui Survey District; thence towards the
east by the said block boundary, 4500 links, to the northern
boundary of Section 11, Block IV, aforesaid; thence towards
the south generally by the said boundary of the last-named
section, 6400 links, to a public road; and thence by the
northern boundary of the said public road to the point of
commencement: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same is delineated on atlas No. A 009, deposited in the
Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon
edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 27th day of June, 1921.

the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the Crown land
described in the Schedule hereto as and for a State forest.


SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in
Block XIII, Ruahine Survey District, containing by admea-
surement 55 acres, be the same a little more or less, being
Lot 3 on plan 259/20, deposited in the office of the Chief Sur-
veyor, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue. (State
Forest Service plan 24 Wn.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 27th day of June, 1921.
