The South-eastern Side of Portion of Earl’s Terrace, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of May, 1921.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one—viz., “The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of the south-eastern side of Earl’s Terrace beginning at a point 119·72 links from the south-western corner of Vogel Street and extending for a distance of 76·83 links, being part frontage of Town Section 398 in the said city”; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the south-eastern side of the said portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of street situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Earl’s Terrace, abutting on part Section 398; as the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 51044 deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The Northern Side of Portion of Appleby Road, in the Borough of Richmond, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Richmond Borough Council on the eleventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one—viz., “That the Richmond Borough Council, having control of the following streets—namely, Hill Street from Queen Street to Appleby Road, Wensley Road from Bells Road to Appleby Road, and the northern side of Appleby Road from Wensley Road to Hill Street—by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the said portions of roads and streets,” in so far as such resolution refers to the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the northern side of the said portion of street within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of street in the Nelson Land District Borough of Richmond, known as Appleby Road, situated between Wensley Road and Hill Street. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 50930, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the tenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one—viz., “The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to all that portion of the southern side of Normanby Street beginning at a point 319·71 links from the south-eastern corner of Riddiford Street and extending for a distance of 103·08 links, being whole frontages of Lots 44 and 47, Town Section 825, in the City of Wellington”;
