Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 16th day of May, 1921.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR F. H. D. BELL, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS application has been made, under section twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is expedient that such consent should issue:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto, provided that the rate of interest at which the loans or any of them are to be raised shall in no case produce to the lender a return exceeding five and one-half pounds per centum per annum; and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the loans hereby authorized.

Declaring Portion of Rangi Road, in the Whangamomona County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of May, 1921.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of Rangi Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Whangamomona County, commencing at its junction with Mount Damper Road on the western boundary of Section 9, Block XIV, Waro Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through Section 6 and part Section 7, Block XIV, Waro Survey District, and terminating at a point about five chains south-east of the boundary between the said Sections 6 and 7, Block XIV, Waro Survey District; being a distance of seventeen chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 51685, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Ohura-Mokau or Miroahwiao-Matiere Road, in the Ohura County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of May, 1921.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Taranaki Land District, Ohura County, known as the Ohura-Mokau or Miroahwiao-Matiere Road, commencing at a point opposite the boundary between Sections 1 and 2, Block XII, Aria Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Section 1 and Rangitoto-Tuhua 61c Sec. 1, Block XII, Aria Survey District, Sections 5, 4, portion of Rangitoto-Tuhua 61c Sec. 2A, 61c Sec. 2B, and 61c Sec. 3, Block VIII, Aria Survey District, and terminating at a point ten chains north of its junction with the Tapuiwahine Road, at or near the crossing of the Waikaka Stream; being a distance of two miles, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D 51620, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Okara Road, in the Whangamomona County, to be a County Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of May, 1921.

Present:

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Okara Road in Taranaki Land District, Whangamomona County, commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of Section 1, E.R., Block XI, Mahoe Survey District, 1 mile 18 chains from its junction with Tahunaroa Road, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly and then north-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Section 1, E.R., Block XI, Mahoe Survey District; Sections 9 and 10 (papa reserve), Block VI, Mahoe Survey District; Sections 4, 9 (shell-rock reserve), and 1, Block VII, Mahoe Survey District; and part Section 4, Block III, Mahoe Survey District, and terminating at a point about five chains north of the south-eastern corner of the said Section 4, Block III, Mahoe Survey District; being a distance of 3 miles 58 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 51634, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
