by means of broken white lines shown on the plan marked
P.W.D. 50687, and deposited in the office of the Minister of
Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.
SCHEDULE.

  1. AREA OF SUPPLY.
    THE area of supply comprises the Town District of Te Puke
    as at present constituted, as indicated by a distinctive border
    coloured red on the plan marked P.W.D. 50687 hereinbefore
    referred to.
  2. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.
    The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (c),
    (e), and (g) of clause 3 of the regulations. The electrical
    energy shall be purchased in bulk from the Tauranga Borough
    Council's supply at a pressure of 3300 volts.
  3. DATUM TEMPERATURE.
    For the purpose of calculating the stresses as provided in
    clause 15 of the regulations, the datum temperature shall
    be taken as 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. CHARGES FOR ELECTRICAL ENERGY.
    The maximum charge for electrical energy shall not exceed
    ls. per unit for lighting purposes, and 6d. per unit for motor-
    power, heating, or cooking purposes; provided that "lighting
    purposes" shall include the operation of motor-generators for
    lighting purposes.
  5. DURATION OF LICENSE.
    This license shall, unless sooner determined in accordance
    with the provisions hereinafter expressed, continue in force
    for a period of forty-two years from the date hereof. Upon
    the expiry of the said term, or upon the sooner determination
    of this license by revocation or otherwise, all rights hereby
    granted to the licensee shall thereupon cease and determine;
    but such expiration or determination shall not relieve the
    licensee of any liability theretofore incurred under this
    license.
  6. VARIATION IN CONDITIONS OF LICENSE.
    The terms and conditions of this license may at any time
    or from time to time, at the request or with the consent in
    writing of the licensee, be altered by the Governor-General
    by Order in Council.

    of the Southland County.

    ORDER IN COUNCIL.
    At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day
    of May, 1921.
    Present:
    THE HONOURABLE SIR F. H. D. BELL, K.C.M.G.,
    PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
    IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
    Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and of all other
    powers in anyway enabling him in that behalf, His Excel-
    lency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
    acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
    Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the licenses
    dated the fifteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred
    and twelve, the eighteenth day of November, one thousand
    nine hundred and twelve, and the third day of April, one
    thousand nine hundred and fourteen, authorizing the Mataura
    Borough Council to erect and also to extend electric lines
    within the Borough of Mataura, and doth, subject to the
    conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto, and to the regu-
    lations made under section two of the aforesaid Act and dated
    the twenty-second day of September, one thousand nine
    hundred and nineteen, published in the New Zealand Gazette
    of the twenty-fifth day of the same month, or any regulations
    hereinafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution
    therefor (and hereinafter collectively referred to as "the
    regulations"), and which regulations shall be deemed to be
    incorporated herein, hereby authorize the Mataura Borough
    Council (hereinafter referred to as "the licensee") to erect
    and maintain electric lines for lighting, power, and heating
    purposes in the Southland County, along the route described
    in the Schedule hereto, and also to erect and maintain electric
    lines for lighting, power, and heating purposes within the
    area of supply hereinafter described; and the lines already
    erected along the said route and in the said area of supply
    shall be deemed to be erected under this license, and the
    provisions hereof shall apply as fully and effectively as if
    this were the license originally issued.
    SCHEDULE.
  7. ROUTE OF LINES IN SOUTH LAND COUNTY AUTHORIZED.
    That route commencing at the western boundary of the
    Borough of Mataura, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly
    direction for a distance of approximately eight chains, inter-
    secting part Section 39, Block IV, Lindhurst Hundred. As
    the said route is more particularly shown by means of a
    green line on the plan marked P.W.D. 51210, deposited in
    the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in
    the Wellington Land District.
  8. AREA OF SUPPLY.
    The area of supply comprises the Borough of Mataura as
    at present constituted; as the same is more particularly
    delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 51210 hereinbefore
    referred to.
  9. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.
    The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (d),
    (g), and (b) (2) of clause 3 of the regulations. The generating
    voltage shall be approximately 5,000 volts between the
    terminals.
  10. DATUM TEMPERATURE.
    For the purpose of calculating the stresses as provided in
    clause 15 of the regulations, the datum temperature shall
    be taken as 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
  11. CHARGES FOR ELECTRICAL ENERGY.
    The charge for electrical energy shall not exceed 9d. per
    unit for lighting purposes, and 4d. per unit for motor-power,
    heating, or cooking purposes; provided that "lighting pur-
    poses" shall include the operation of motor-generators for
    lighting purposes.

    This license shall, unless sooner determined in accordance
    with the provisions hereinafter expressed, continue in force

    Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained, the
    licensee shall not be entitled to erect, maintain, or use any
    electric lines within the Southland County, except subject
    to such conditions, not inconsistent with the provisions of
    this license and the regulations relating thereto, or any
    variation of this license or the regulations, or new regulations
    which may take the place of these regulations, as may from
    time to time be agreed upon between the licensee and the
    Southland County Council.

    under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,

    ORDER IN COUNCIL.
    At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day
    of May, 1921.
    Present:
    THE HONOURABLE SIR F. H. D. BELL, K.C.M.G.,
    PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
    BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
    the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and
    Domains Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
    Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and
    with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
    said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve
    for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described
    in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought
    under the operation of and declared to be subject to the
    provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve
    shall hereafter form part of the Kororareka Domain, and
    be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain
    by the Kororareka Domain Board.
    SCHEDULE.
    NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
    Sections 15 and 16, Block IX, Town of Russell: Area,
    15 perches.
