The toll charged for crossing any passenger, horse, wagon,
coach, motor-car, motor-cycle, or other vehicle on any one
day shall be available without further payment for return
on same day before sundown of the same passenger, horse,
wagon, coach, motor-car, motor-cycle, or other vehicle.

Notifying Land in Canterbury Land District for Sale by
Public Auction.

JELLICOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section
of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint Monday, the twenty-seventh day of June, one thou-
sand nine hundred and twenty-one, as the time at which the
land described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public
auction; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said land
shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

Town of Akaroa.

SECTION 6164: Area, 4 acres 3 roods 5 perches; upset price,
£575.

Weighted with £40 for improvements, consisting of an old
four-roomed house and fencing.

The section is situated about a quarter of a mile from
Akaroa Post-office, and has a frontage of 338 links to Balguerie
Street. Well situated at an altitude of 100 ft. Good volcanic
soil, suitable for fruit-growing, gardening, or residential
lots. Watered by borough water system.

Ashburton County.—South Rakaia Survey District.

Section 34, Block IV: Area, 3 roods 28 perches; upset
price, £25.

Heavy land, in English grasses and clovers; unfenced on
one side and on one end.

enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount
Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby appoint

ALBERT FULLER ELLIS

to be a member of the Board of Commissioners established
by the agreement made on the second day of July, one
thousand nine hundred and nineteen, between His Majesty's
Government in London, His Majesty's Government of the
Commonwealth of Australia, and His Majesty's Government
of the Dominion of New Zealand, with regard to the island of
Nauru.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 4th day of May, 1921.

Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint

WILLIAM TONKS, of Auckland,

to be an Analyst in accordance with the provisions of the
aforesaid Act.

to be a trustee, in the place of Dean Wallis McGaveston,
left the district, to provide for the maintenance and care
of the Ngatimote Public Cemetery.
