in the Schedule hereto to be a district for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, to be called by the name of the “Wakapuaka Drainage District”; and also, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the fourth section of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the Board of Trustees of the said district shall consist of five persons to be elected as members of the said Board, under and in accordance with the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

WAKAPUAKA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section IV, Suburban North District (Block V, Wakapuaka Survey District), and proceeding thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of that section and its production across the main road; thence along the watershed through Sections 23 and 22, Suburban South District, passing through Trig. Station Sub. 3 and Section I, Square 23, to its southernmost corner; thence along the southern boundary of Section 6 to Trig. Station Sub. 4, and southerly along the watershed to Trig. Station C; thence along the southern boundary of Section 30, Square 23, to Trig. Station Sub. Bc, and along a right line to a point on the watershed where it is intersected by the production of the south-western boundary of Section 77, Suburban North District; thence along the watershed to the main road at the Gentle Annie Saddle; thence along a right line to the south-western corner of Section 69, Suburban North District, and along the south-eastern boundary of Section 68 to its north-eastern corner; thence along a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 73, Square 23, and along the western boundary of that section to the northernmost corner; thence north-easterly to an iron pipe 63 links distant on the Native reserve boundary, and north-westerly along that boundary for a distance of 44 chains; thence along the watershed through Section VI, Suburban North District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 35, and through Sections VI and 36 to the shore of the Tasman Bay; thence south-westerly along the Boulder Bank to the point of commencement.

Notice respecting Proposed Ostend Road District, Waiheke Island.

Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 12th January, 1921.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under section 11 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1919, as amended by section 86 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1920, praying that the area described in such petition and in the Schedule hereto be constituted a road district, to be known as the Ostend Road District.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed constitution which they desire to lodge, within one month from the first publication of this notice; such objections or petitions are to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, situated in Blocks I–III and V–VII inclusive, Waiheke Survey District, being part of Waiheke Island, commonly called “The Ostend Estate,” and bounded as follows: Commencing at Ostend Wharf in Putiki Bay, bounded towards the west and north-west generally by the high-water mark at Okanuiti Creek, and by the boundary between the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 157, folio 20, at the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and that comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 140, folio 40, as aforesaid, to Onetangi Bay; thence towards the north generally by the high-water mark at the said Onetangi Bay and by the boundary between the land comprised in said certificate of title, Vol. 140, folio 40, and other part of Allotment 41, Parish of Waiheke, to the eastern boundary of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 140, folio 40, aforesaid; thence towards the east and south generally by the eastern and southern boundaries of land comprised in the last-mentioned certificate of title, and by the high-water mark at Putiki Bay to the point of commencement.
