Notice respecting Proposed Town District, Glen Eden,
County of Waitemata.

Wellington, 7th April, 1921.

It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to
His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Town
Boards Act, 1908, praying that the area described in the
Schedule hereto may be constituted a town district under
the said Act, by name the Town District of Glen Eden. All
persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written
objections to or petitions against the constitution of the said
town district which they desire to lodge, within one month
from the first publication of this notice, such objections or
petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs,
Wellington.

SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF BOUNDARIES OF PROPOSED TOWN DISTRICT
OF GLEN EDEN.

All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the Oratia Stream where it is
crossed by the Auckland-Kaipara Railway; thence along
the said railway-line to the middle of the road forming the
northern boundary of the Waikumete Railway-station Reserve, along the middle of that road to and along the middle
of the road forming the western boundary of Allotment 187,
Parish of Waikumete, and its northern continuation past
Allotments 186, 185, 184, and 229 to a point in line with
the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 229; thence to and
along the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments 229, 228,
227, 226, 225, 224, 223, and 222, to and along the middle of
the road forming the eastern boundary of the last-mentioned allotment to the Great North Road, and along the middle of
that road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of
Allotment 162; thence to and along the eastern boundary
of that allotment and part of its southern boundary to the
north-western corner of Allotment 159, along the western
and south-western boundaries of that allotment, across a
road, and along its south-eastern side to and across Smith's
Road to the easternmost corner of Allotment 141, along the
south-eastern boundary of that allotment and part of its
south-western boundary to the northernmost corner of Allot-
ment 138, along the north-western boundaries of Allot-
ments 138, 137, and 136 and that line produced to a road
at the southern boundary of Allotment 126, across that road,
and along the southern boundaries of Allotments 126 and 125,
across a road, and along the southern boundaries of Lots 70,
69, 68, 67, 75, 74, 15, 14, 13, 12, and 11 of Allotments 119 and
118, Waikumete Parish, along the eastern boundaries of Lots
10, 9, 8, and 7 of Allotment 117, the southern boundary of
the said Lot 7 and that boundary produced to the middle of
Morrie's Road, along the middle of that road and of the
road running past Allotment 113 to a point in line with the
southern boundary of that allotment; thence to and along
the southern boundary of the said Allotment 113, and along
its north-western boundary and that boundary produced to
the middle of Levy's Road, and thence easterly along the
middle of that road to a point in line with the north-western
boundary of Lot 34 of Allotment 115, Waikumete Parish,
to and along the north-western boundary of the said Lot 34
and its production to the westernmost corner of Lot 15,
along the north-western boundaries of Lots 15 and 14 and
of Lot 1 of Allotment 14 to the West Coast Road; thence
to and along the middle of that road to its junction with
Parr's Cross Road; thence along the middle of that road
to the Oratia Stream, and along that stream to the railway-
line, the place of commencement.

OF TURUA.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, situate in
Blocks XI and XII, Thames Survey District, and Blocks II
and III, Waihou Survey District, bounded towards the east
by the Waihou River, commencing at the confluence of the
said river and the Oparia Creek, to the intersection of a line
on the western boundary of Lot 68 shown on plan 7492 de-
posited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auck-
land ; thence along the western boundary of Lot 68 shown
on plan 7492 aforesaid to the north-eastern corner of Lot 24
shown on plan 7492 aforesaid; thence along the northern
boundary of the said Lot 24, across the Hauraki Road, and
thence along the northern boundary of Lot 23 shown on
plan 7492 aforesaid to the north-western corner of the said
Lot 23; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 7 of
Block II, Waihou Survey District, across the Piako Road,
thence along the eastern boundary of Section 14 of Block XI,
Thames Survey District, to the south-western corner of
Kaipapaka Block; thence along the southern boundary of
the said block, across the Hauraki Road, continuing along
the southern boundary of Kaipapaka Block to the right
bank of the Oparia Creek; thence along the right bank of
the said creek to its confluence with the Waihou River, the
place of commencement.

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Kawa
Drainage District, Counties of Waitomo and West Taupo.

Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 9th April, 1921.

It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to
His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Land
Drainage Amendment Act, 1913, praying that the areas
described in the Schedule hereto may be included in the
Kawa Drainage District. All persons affected are hereby
called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions
against the proposed inclusion which they desire to lodge,
within one month from the first publication of this notice,
such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister
of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.
AREAS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE KAWA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.

All that area in the County of West Taupo bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the North Island Main Trunk
Railway line being the north-western corner of Pokuru No.
2D Block; south-easterly and southerly by the south-western
and western boundaries of the said Pokuru No. 2D Block, a
road, and a line across a road to the northern corner of Ouru-
whero No. 3U Block; thence by the western boundary of
Tokanui C No. 1B Block and the Tokanui Mental Hospital
Reserve to the eastern corner of the said Ouruwhero No. 3U
Block; thence westerly and northerly by the existing northern
boundary of the Kawa Drainage District to the south-eastern
corner of Kakepuku No. 2A Block; thence northerly by the
eastern boundary of the said Kakepuku No. 2A Block to the
south-western corner of Kakepuku No. 11c 2D 2B Block;
then easterly by the southern boundaries of Kakepuku
No. 11c 2D 2B, 11c 2D 2A, and 11c 2D No. 1 Blocks, and lines
across roads to the south-eastern corner of the said Kakepuku
11c 2D No. 1 Block; thence southerly and easterly by the
western and southern boundaries of Kakepuku No. 11c 2B 2
Block to the North Island Main Trunk Railway line; thence
easterly by the projection of the said southern boundary of
Kakepuku No. 11c 2B 2 Block, across the said railway-line,
and northerly by the said railway-line to the north-western
corner of Pokuru No. 2D Block, the place of commencement.

And also all that area in the County of West Taupo bounded
by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Tokanui
C No. 7 Block; easterly and south-easterly by a road to the
eastern corner of the said block; thence southerly and south-
westerly by a road to a point where the said road cuts the
western boundary of Tokanui C 9B Block; thence northerly
by the existing eastern boundary of the Kawa Drainage Dis-
trict to the north-western corner of Tokanui C No. 7 Block,
the place of commencement.

And also all that area in the County of West Taupo bounded
by a line commencing at a point in the southern boundary of
Ouruwhero No. 3s Block where a road cuts such boundary;
south-westerly by the said road to a point in the southern
boundary of Puketarata No. 2 Block where the said road
cuts such boundary; thence westerly and north-westerly
by a road to a point in the southern boundary of Section 9,
Block XIV, Puniu Survey District, where a road cuts such
boundary; thence easterly by the existing southern boundary
of the Kawa Drainage District to a point where a road cuts
the southern boundary of Ouruwhero 3s Block, the place of
commencement.
