Lieutenant (temp.) Archibald Drysdale Brown resigns his commission. Dated 21st March, 1921.
17TH (RUAHINE) REGIMENT.
The commission granted 2nd Lieutenant (temp.) James Archer is cancelled, under the provisions of section 5 (a) of the Defence Act, 1909. Dated 1st April, 1921.

2nd Lieutenant [Lieutenant, Reserve of Officers (temp.)] George Henry Blanshard is transferred to the Corps of N.Z. Engineers, N.Z. Post and Telegraph Corps (South Island). Dated 24th March, 1921.

THE following special order, made by the Mosgiel Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920.

Special Order.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the following resolution, intended to operate as a special order, was passed at a special meeting of the Mosgiel Borough Council held in the Council Chambers, Coronation Hall, Mosgiel, on Monday, 7th March, 1921, and was duly confirmed as a special order at the ordinary meeting of the Council held on the 4th day of April, 1921:—
That, pursuant to the provisions of section 125 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, the Mosgiel Borough Council hereby resolves by way of special resolution, to operate as a special order, that the total number of members of the said Council, exclusive of the Mayor, shall be six (6) instead of nine (9), as at present, and hereby further resolves that such reduction of members to six (6) shall take effect at and from the forthcoming biennial election of Councillors to be held on the last Wednesday in April, 1921.
Dated this 4th day of April, 1921.
