Amendments and Additions to the Regulations under the Public Service Act, 1912.
IN pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred on him by the Public Service Act, 1912 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), the Commissioner, with the approval of the Governor-General in Council, doth hereby, in respect of the regulations made under the said Act on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and the amendments thereof made from time to time under the provisions of the said Act, make the amendments shown in the Schedule hereto.
Such amendments shall have effect from and after the date of publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
REGULATION 10 is hereby revoked, and the following substituted in lieu thereof:—
- Attendance-books shall be accessible for record and signature daily before 8.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m.; also daily after 12.25 p.m. and 4.30 p.m.
Exact times of arrival and departure are to be recorded, and books are to be ruled off to indicate late arrivals or absentees as directed by the Commissioner.
This regulation may be modified by the Commissioner to suit the special requirements of any Department.
If at any time the hours of commencing and closing work are altered, the times herein mentioned shall also be altered in conformity therewith.

Arrangements for First Election, &c., Waitomo Valley Drainage District.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
FREDERICK PHILLIPS, Esq., of Otorohanga,
to be Returning Officer for the purpose of conducting the first election of five (5) members of the Board of Trustees of the Waitomo Valley Drainage District as constituted under the Land Drainage Act, 1908; also to appoint Friday, the 15th day of April, 1921, to be the day, and the Town Hall, Otorohanga, to be the place, for holding such election; also to appoint Friday, the 22nd day of April, 1921, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, to be the day and hour, and the office of Mr. Frederick Phillips, Solicitor, Otorohanga, to be the place, at which the first meeting of the Board of Trustees so elected shall be held.
