Appointments, Promotions, Resignations, and Transfers of Officers of the Regiment of Royal N.Z. Artillery and Territorial Force.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the Regiment of Royal N.Z. Artillery and Territorial Force.

THE REGIMENT OF ROYAL N.Z. ARTILLERY.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) William Ivory to be Captain, with seniority as from the 1st December, 1919.
The increments in pay appropriate to this promotion will take effect as from the 1st January, 1921, and with no retrospective effect.

QUEEN ALEXANDRA’S 2ND (WELLINGTON WEST COAST) MOUNTED RIFLES.
2nd Lieutenant (temp.) George Lewin Bacon relinquishes his commission. Dated 10th March, 1921.

4TH (WAIKATO) MOUNTED RIFLES.
Lieutenant Benoni Nimmo Sandilands relinquishes his commission, under the provisions of paragraph 124, General Regulations, 1913. Dated 14th March, 1921.

RESERVE OF OFFICERS.
The undermentioned relinquish their commissions, under the provisions of paragraph 124, General Regulations, 1913. Dated 14th March, 1921:—

2nd Lieutenant (temp.) Arthur Watson Bird, M.M., from the N.Z. Garrison Artillery, Wellington G.A. Division, to be 2nd Lieutenant (temp.). Dated 21st March, 1921.

N.Z. GARRISON ARTILLERY.
Wellington G.A. Division.
2nd Lieutenant (temp.) Arthur Watson Bird, M.M., is transferred to the N.Z. Field Artillery. Dated 21st March, 1921.

CORPS OF N.Z. ENGINEERS.—N.Z. POST AND TELEGRAPH CORPS.
North Island.
2nd Lieutenant Sydney Bagshaw Probert is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 14th March, 1921.

South Island.
Captain Arthur Gifford Williams resigns his commission. Dated 18th March, 1921.

7TH (WELLINGTON WEST COAST) REGIMENT.
2nd Lieutenant (temp.) Reginald Ngatiawa Ramsbottom Isherwood relinquishes his commission. Dated 10th March, 1921.

9TH (HAWKE’S BAY) REGIMENT.
Lieutenant (temp.) Thomas Herbert Bowie resigns his commission. Dated 15th March, 1921.
2nd Lieutenant (temp.) George Stewart relinquishes his commission. Dated 10th March, 1921.

11TH REGIMENT (TARANAKI) RIFLES.
2nd Lieutenant Charles Hamerton Stephenson, from the Unattached List (b), to be 2nd Lieutenant. Dated 18th March, 1921.

N.Z. RIFLE BRIGADE (EARL OF LIVERPOOL’S OWN).
The commission granted 2nd Lieutenant Rupert Cecil Wood is cancelled, under the provisions of section 5 (a) of the Defence Act, 1909. Dated 10th March, 1921.
2nd Lieutenant [Lieutenant, Reserve of Officers (temp.)] Henry Archibald Ellingham, M.C., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers (General List), with the rank of Lieutenant. Dated 19th March, 1921.

N.Z. ARMY SERVICE CORPS.
No. 4 Company.
Lieutenant Cecil Francis Jellie is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 15th March, 1921.

N.Z. ARMY NURSING SERVICE.
The undermentioned are posted to the Temporary Reserve List:—
Sister Alice Mary Rowntree. Dated 26th March, 1921.
Sister Ada Maud Carver. Dated 17th March, 1921.
Staff Nurse Gertrude Jackson. Dated 19th February, 1921.

Special Order made by the Waikato County Council merging Kirikiriroad Road District.

THE following special order, made by the Waikato County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act Amendment Act, 1903.

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order merging the Kirikiriroad Road District in the County of Waikato.

In pursuance of the provisions of section 31 of the Counties Act, 1908, and upon a petition of a majority of the ratepayers of the Kirikiriroad Road District possessing in the aggregate not less than half of the rateable property in such district, the Waikato County Council hereby declares the Kirikiriroad Road Board dissolved and the Kirikiriroad Road District merged in the County of Waikato, on and after the 1st day of April, 1921.

I hereby certify that the above special order was duly made by the Waikato County Council by a resolution passed at a special meeting of such Council on the 27th day of January, 1921, and confirmed at a meeting of such Council on the 3rd day of March, 1921.
