Regulations 6 and 10 are hereby revoked and the following substituted in lieu thereof:—

The annual increment shall be the difference between the officer’s salary as fixed for any year and the salary for the next higher subdivision of his class.

The officers belonging to the General Division shall, subject to any provisions in these regulations relating to good and diligent conduct, be paid the salaries with annual increments set forth in the Second, Third, and Fourth Schedules hereto for the respective officers of that division described in the said Schedules.

The following additional regulation is hereby made:—
7A. Any officer promoted to the Clerical Division or to the Professional Division from the General Division who at the time was in receipt of a higher salary than the minimum salary of the class to which he has been promoted shall continue to receive such first-mentioned salary until he shall be entitled to a further increment.
- The Second Schedule is hereby revoked, and the following substituted in lieu thereof:—
