1909, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, and along the aforesaid boundary to the north-western corner of Allotment 1 on plan 1909 aforesaid; thence northerly along the production of the western boundary of Allotment 1 aforesaid to the southern boundary of part of the subdivision of Section 12, Rangitikei Agricultural Reserve, shown on plan marked A/2446, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, and along the aforesaid boundary to the Pukepapa Road; thence northerly along the eastern side of the said Pukepapa Road to the northern side of Henderson’s Road line; and westerly along the said northern side of Henderson’s Road line to the south-western subdivision of Original Section 26, along the eastern boundary of that subdivision and of the north-western subdivision of said Section 26 to Bonny Glen Road; thence westerly along the southern side of that road to a point opposite the south-eastern corner of the westernmost subdivision of Original Section 19, across the said road, and along the western side of the road forming the eastern boundary of said subdivision to the southern boundary of Section LXXX, and easterly along said boundary to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF COUNTY OF RANGITIKEI.
All that area in the Wellington and Hawke’s Bay Land Districts bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section 5, Block I, Maungakaretu Survey District; thence proceeding easterly along the northern boundary of that section, across the Owhakura Road, along the northern boundaries of Section 1, Block I, across Otara Road, and along the northern boundaries of Sections 2, 3, and 4, Block I, the northern boundaries of Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block II, to the Turakina River; thence to and along the middle of that river to and along the northern boundary of Section 3A, Block II, Maungakaretu Survey District, the northern boundaries of Raketapauma Nos. 1A, 1G, and 1I Blocks to the Waiouru–Moawhango Road; thence to and along the middle of that road to its junction with the Waiouru Road; thence along right lines passing through Totem, Auahitotara, Te Rotete, Manukaiapu, Trig. Station 27, Trig. Station 26; thence along a right line in the direction of Trig. Station 65A to its intersection with the middle of the Ngaruroro River; thence down the middle of that river and up the middle of the Taruarau River to a point opposite the westernmost corner of Block 78, Maraekakahu Crown-grant District; thence along a right line to Trig. Station Y on the summit of the Ruahine Range in Block XII, Pukeokahu Survey District; thence southerly along the summit of the said range to a point due east of the source of the Kawhatau River; thence to and down the middle of the said river and of the Rangitikei River to the sea; thence north-westerly along the sea-coast to the middle of the Wangaehu River; thence up the middle of the Wangaehu River to a point due west and distant about eighteen chains from the western boundary of Block XIV, Mangawhero Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line through Okaipe Trig. Station to the summit of the eastern watershed of the Wangaehu River; thence by lines from hill to hill along the summit of the said watershed to its intersection with the southern boundary of Section 63, Block XIII, Maungakaretu Survey District; thence along the southern boundary of that section to the north-eastern boundary of Section 77, Block XVI, Ngamatea Survey District; thence along the said boundary and its production to the middle of Hales Road; thence northerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 70, Block IX, Maungakaretu Survey District; thence to and along that boundary and the south-western boundary of Section 71, Block XII, Ngamatea Survey District, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Koukoupo Road; thence northerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the northern boundary of the Pungataua Block; thence to and along that boundary, the eastern boundaries of Sections 9 and 6, Block VIII, Ngamatea Survey District, and the eastern boundary of Section 7, Block IV, Ngamatea Survey District, to the point of commencement: excluding the Boroughs of Marton and Taihape, and the Town Districts of Hunter ville, Manga-weka, and Bull’s.

Notice respecting Proposed Borough of Raetihi.

Wellington, 7th February, 1921.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, it is hereby notified that a petition, in accordance with regulations, signed by not less than one-fifth of the electors of the area described in the Schedule hereto, has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General praying that the said area may be constituted a borough under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, by name the Borough of Raetihi. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed constitution within one month from the first publication of this notice. Such objections or petitions are to be addressed and forwarded to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
PROPOSED BOROUGH OF RAETIHI.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in Blocks VI and VII, Makotuku Survey District, bounded towards the north by Section 6, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District, from the south-western corner thereof to the Makotuku Stream; thence towards the south by the right bank of that stream to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 1, Block VII, Makotuku Survey District; thence towards the south-east by a right line across the said stream to the south-west corner of the aforesaid Section 1, and thence by the south-western boundaries of the said Section 1 and Raetihi 2B 3B Block to the intersection of the last-mentioned boundary-line with the western boundary-line of Subdivision R of Ngapakihi No. 1 Block; again towards the south by the said Subdivision R to the northern side of the Pipiriki–Waiouru Road; thence towards the east by the said road to a point in line with the western boundary-line of Ngapakihi 2B 2; again towards the south by a right line to and by the said Ngapakihi 2B 2 to the south-western corner thereof; thence towards the west by the northern boundary-line of Ngapakihi 2C Block to the left bank of the Makotuku Stream; again towards the south by the said stream to a point opposite the most southerly corner of Section 32, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District; again towards the west by a right line to the western side of the Raetihi–Parapara Road; thence towards the north by the said road to the north-eastern corner of Section 23, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District, and again towards the west by the northern boundary of the said Section 23 and the production thereof across Islington Street for a distance of 20 chains from the western side of that street; thence again towards the north by a line at right angles to the last-mentioned line and for a distance of 20 chains to the southern boundary of Section 19, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District; again towards the west by the southern boundary of the said Section 19 to the eastern side of the Hukaroa Road, a distance of 1957·9 links; thence towards the north-west by a right line across the said Hukaroa Road to the opposite angle of traverse peg XLIV; thence by a right line bearing 163° 15′ for a distance of 3390·8 links to the opposite angle of traverse peg CLXXVI of the Pipiriki–Ohakune Road; thence towards the north-east by the eastern side of the said road to the south-western corner of Lot 24 on Land Transfer provisional plan No. 2923; thence again towards the west by a right line across the aforesaid road to the south-eastern corner of Lot 15 on D.P. 3791; thence towards the north-west generally by the southern and western boundaries of the said Lot 15, the western boundary of Lot 14, and the southern boundaries of Lots 12 to 1 on the said D.P. 3791 to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence again towards the north and north-east generally by the western and northern boundaries of the said Lot 1 and the western boundary of Lot 2 on D.P. 3740 produced to the northern side of the Ameku Road; thence by a right line bearing 76° 18′ 30″ for a distance of 3371·6 links to the south-western corner of Section 7, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District; and again towards the north by the western boundary of the said Section 7 to the south-western corner of Section 6, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District, the place of commencement.

Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Feilding and the County of Manawatu.

Wellington, 31st January, 1921.
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the boundaries of the Borough of Feilding are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough having been altered by an Order in Council dated the 29th day of November, 1920, made under the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, and published in Gazette No. 97, of the 3rd day of December, 1920.
And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the boundaries of the County of Manawatu affected by the said Order in Council dated the 29th day of November, 1920, are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
