Waikato River District extended.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of section three of the River Boards Amendment Act, 1913, a majority of the ratepayers in the areas described in the First Schedule hereto, situated in the County of Franklin, have presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, praying that the land comprised in the said areas be included in the Waikato River District as constituted under the provisions of the River Boards Act, 1908, and its amendments :
And whereas it is expedient to alter the boundaries of such river district in manner hereinafter appearing :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in section three of the River Boards Amendment Act, 1913, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas described in the First Schedule hereto, being now part of the Franklin County, shall on and from the date hereof be deemed to be added to and form part of the Waikato River District; and, with the like power and authority, do proclaim and declare that the boundaries of the said Waikato River District, with such additions as aforesaid, shall be those set forth in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREAS INCLUDED IN WAIKATO RIVER DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, being Section 116, Mangatawhiri Parish, bounded on the north-west by Section 237, on the north-east by Section 239, on the south-east by a public road, and on the south-west by Section 92.
Also all that area, being eastern portion of Section 117, Mangatawhiri Parish, bounded on the north by a public road, on the east by Section 124, on the south by a public road, and on the south-west by western portion of Section 117.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
WAIKATO RIVER DISTRICT AMENDED BOUNDARIES.
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-west generally by the right bank of the Waikato River from the south-eastern corner of Section No. 100, Waiuku West Parish, to the road intersecting Te Pungapunga Block; thence by that road and its continuation northwards through Section No. 135, Waiuku East Parish, Purapura Native Reserve, to its junction with the road which runs south-easterly to the right bank of the Waikato River at the south-eastern corner of the said Purapura Native Reserve; thence by the last-mentioned road and the right bank of the Waikato River to the south-eastern corner of Cameron Township; thence by that township to the middle portion of Section No. 18, Pukekohe Parish, Sections Nos. 9 and 43, Pukekohe Parish, Sections Nos. 7, 2, 1, and 103, Tuakau Parish, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by part of the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 105 to its north-eastern corner; thence by the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 105 and 104, Tuakau Parish, and across a road, to the Waikato River; thence by the right bank of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section No. 88, Tuakau Parish; thence across a road, by Sections Nos. 88, 87, 85, the road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 9 and 10, to Section No. 20; thence by Sections Nos. 20, 18, 19, and the road forming the south-western boundary of Section No. 30, Tuakau Parish, to the Waikato River; thence by the right bank of that river to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by that section, the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 31, and by Sections Nos. 95, 96, 97, 100, 101, and 102, Tuakau Parish, the road forming the southern boundary of Section No. 10, Mangatawhiri Parish, the north-eastern part of Section No. 68 and Section No. 69, Mangatawhiri Parish, to its south-western corner; thence by the road forming the north-western boundaries of Sections Nos. 59 and 60, and the western boundary of the last-mentioned section, the road forming the southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 60, 59, and 57, by the last-mentioned section to the road at its north-eastern corner; thence across and by that road to Section No. 53A, Mangatawhiri Parish; thence by that section, the road forming part of its south-eastern boundary and forming the south-eastern boundaries of Blocks XI and VII, Township of Havelock, the road forming the southern boundary of Section No. 210, Mangatawhiri Parish, to its south-eastern corner; thence by Sections Nos. 210, 209, and 208, and the southern boundary of the last-mentioned section produced to the Mangatawhiri Stream; thence by the right bank of that stream to and across the railway-line, by a road running along the railway-line to Section No. 206, Mangatawhiri Parish, by that section, the abutment of a road, Section No. 218, Suburbs of Pokeno, the abutment of a road, Section No. 219, Suburbs of Pokeno, Allotments Nos. 110, 111, 112, 113, and 114 of Suburban Section No. 1, Mangatawhiri Parish, the road forming the southern boundaries of Allotments Nos. 104, 105, 106, 107, and by Allotment No. 142, Section No. 1 aforesaid, the road forming the south-western boundary of Section No. 201, Mangatawhiri Parish, by that section, Sections Nos. 200, 121, the road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 123, 76, 120, 4A, 195, and 113, Mangatawhiri Parish, and the road forming the north-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned section to Section No. 240; thence by
