[No. 103

(2.) That the currency of the said special loan be 36½ years from the first day of December, 1921.

(3.) That the interest on the said special loan shall be at the rate of £5 10s. per centum per annum, and be payable half-yearly.

(4.) That the security for the interest and sinking fund and repayment of the said special loan of £2,000 be a special annual-recurring rate of one-fifth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Blenheim, comprising the whole of the said borough.

(5.) That a sinking fund of one pound per centum per annum on the amount of the said loan be established in connection with the said special loan, and that the amount of such sinking fund be paid to the Sinking Fund Commissioners to be appointed for that purpose on the first day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years from the first day of December, 1921, or until the loan is fully paid off.

(6.) That the said special loan of £2,000 be raised by the issue of debentures in a form in conformity with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

INGLEWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Inglewood County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of the principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £900, authorized to be raised by the Inglewood County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of reforming, regrading, and metalling the Ratapiko Road, the said Inglewood County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eighty-five one-hundredths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Ratapiko Road No. 2 Special Rating Area, comprising Section 42, Block VI, and Sections 23 and 24, Block X, containing 442 acres; Section 57, Block VI, containing 89 acres: Section 40 and part 41, Block VI, containing 267:1:31 acres; Section 55, Block VI, containing 108:2:24 acres; Sections 38 and 39, Block VI, containing 157 acres; Section 56, Block VI, containing 78 acres; Section 25, Block VI, containing 143 acres; Sections 27 and 28, Block X, and Section 1 and part 5, Block XI, containing 558 acres; Huiroa Survey District. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PALMERSTON NORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL.

SEWERAGE LOAN OF £23,000.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Palmerston North Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £23,000, authorized to be raised by the Palmerston North Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, to extend and duplicate the sewerage system where necessary, to purchase all machinery and material required for the installation of pumping plants, and the acquisition of land upon which to erect such plants, the said Palmerston North Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Palmerston North, comprising the whole of the borough; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

BUS LOAN OF £10,500.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Palmerston North Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £10,500, authorized to be raised by the Palmerston North Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, to purchase additional buses, petrol appliances, erect shelter-sheds, and to enlarge and extend the bus-barn, the said Palmerston North Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fifth of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Palmerston North, comprising the whole of the said borough; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, ROBERT REARDON and ROBERT MARSHALL GLENNIE, carrying on business as Plumbers, Sheet-metal Workers, and Hot and Cold Water Engineers at No. 120 Molesworth Street, Wellington, under the style or firm of “Reardon and Glennie,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 9th day of December, 1921. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said ROBERT MARSHALL GLENNIE, who will continue to carry on the said business at the above-mentioned premises under the style of “R. M. Glennie.”

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.

TAONUI RIDING WORKMAN’S COTTAGE LOAN, £650.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Housing Act, 1919, section 16 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and sections 192 and 195 of the Counties Act, 1920, and all other Acts in that behalf enabling, the Kairanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £650, authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council, under the Housing Act, 1919, section 16 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and sections 192 and 195 of the Counties Act, 1920, and amendments thereto, for the purpose of acquiring land for worker’s dwelling in the Taonui Riding, being part of Section 1576, Block IX, Kairanga Survey District, containing 2½ acres, more or less, the said Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of six one-thousandths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Taonui Riding; and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
