HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of the undermentioned officers of the Territorial Force.
COMMANDS.
Colonel William James Strong, C.B.E., (d.), relinquishes the command of the Otago Coast Defences, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers (General List). Dated 27th October, 1920.
N.Z. ARMY MEDICAL DEPARTMENT.
Captain Charles Arnold Pemberton, M.R.C.S. Eng., is granted the temporary rank of Major. Dated 1st November, 1920.
QUEEN ALEXANDRA’S 2ND (WELLINGTON WEST COAST) MOUNTED RIFLES.
Lieutenant-Colonel David Pringle, C.B.E., (t.d.), relinquishes the command of the regiment, and is posted to the Retired List, under the provisions of paragraphs 126 and 127, General Regulations, 1913, with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 27th October, 1920.
Major Duncan Munro to be Lieutenant-Colonel and to command the regiment. Dated 27th October, 1920.

Major (temp.) Edward Leonard Hornibrook ceases to be attached, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, with the honorary rank of Major. Dated 4th November, 1920.

Coast Defence Detachment.
Lieutenant-Colonel John Archibald Paul Frederic is appointed to command Otago Coast Defences. Dated 27th October, 1920.
16TH (WAIKATO) REGIMENT.
Major John Hector Luxford relinquishes the command of the regiment. Dated 27th October, 1920.
Major William Henderson Gibb is appointed to command the regiment. Dated 27th October, 1920.
N.Z. RIFLE BRIGADE (EARL OF LIVERPOOL’S OWN), TERRITORIAL.
2nd Lieutenant George Turner Poole is transferred to the Corps of N.Z. Engineers, N.Z. Railway Battalions. Dated 1st June, 1920.
2nd Lieutenant Frank William Parry relinquishes his commission, under the provisions of General Headquarters Instructions No. 115/20, of 15th July, Dated 30th September, 1920.
N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.
Captain (temp. Major) Herbert Donald Robertson, M.B., is appointed to command No. 4 Field Ambulance. Dated 28th October, 1920.
Captain (temp.) Charles Benjamin Rossiter, F.R.C.S. Eng., is posted to the Reserve of Officers (temp.). Dated 28th January, 1919.
N.Z. ARMY NURSING SERVICE.
Sister Dora Kathleen Holmes is transferred to the Temporary Reserve List. Dated 31st October, 1920.
Sister Eleanor Ivy Child is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, and reported to the service. Dated 1st February, 1920.
