Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.

Whitikau Scenic Reserve.

Portion Section 2, Block I, Urutawa East Survey District: Area, 81 acres 2 roods.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of November, 1920.

Crown Land set apart for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Ordinary Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Land Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.—NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.—WAIROA COUNTY.

SECTION 2, Block XIII, Tuahu Survey District: Area, 3,732 acres 1 rood 8 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of November, 1920.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.

SECTIONS 101A, 101B, 101C, 101D, Katikati Parish: Area, 97 acres 1 rood 29 perches.

Section 6, Block LXIV, Te Aroha Township: Area, 1 acre.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of November, 1920.
