VIII of the said survey district to a road reserve fronting Sections 897, 896, 894, 893, and 892, and along the northern and eastern and north-western sides of the said road to the north-eastern corner of Section 640 ; thence along the north-eastern boundary of that section produced to the sea-coast ; thence along the sea-coast to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Reserve 334 ; thence to and along the said boundary and the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of the said reserve to its northern corner ; thence in a northerly direction to the confluence of Nicholson Creek and Gordon Creek, and along the right bank of the latter to the Karangarua River ; thence along the left bank of the said river to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Reserve 232 ; and thence to and along the said boundary to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 32, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
All that area of land in Blocks XI, XII, and XV, Bruce Bay Survey District, in the Westland Land District, being Reserve 1648, containing by admeasurement 6,800 acres, more or less. Commencing at the north-western boundary of Education-endowment Reserve 120, and proceeding along its western and southern boundaries to and along the eastern boundary of Block XII, Bruce Bay Survey District ; thence along the southern boundary of the said Block XII and the eastern boundary of Block XV of the said Survey District, 7000 links ; thence due west to the Makawhio River ; thence along the right bank of the said river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 890 ; thence to and along the said eastern boundary to the southern corner of Section 891, and along the south-eastern boundary of that section to the southern side of the Main South Road ; thence along the said road to a road reserve running north and south and along the western side of this said road reserve, crossing to the south-west corner of Section 903, and along the southern and eastern boundaries of that section, the latter produced to the Manakaiaua River ; thence along the left bank of the said river to a point opposite the eastern boundary of Section 3032 ; thence across the said river and a road reserve, and along the said eastern boundary of said Section 3032 to the southern side of Scott Road ; and thence along the said roadside to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 32, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
All that area of land in the Westland Land District, situate in Blocks X, XI, XIV, and XV, Bruce Bay Survey District, being Reserve 1649, containing 8,000 acres, more or less. Commencing at the most southern corner of Reserve 333, and proceeding along its south-eastern boundary to the south-western boundary of Section 2198, and along the said boundary produced to the Makawhio or Jacob’s River ; thence along the left bank of the said river, 10600 links ; thence due west, 15400 links ; thence due south to the southern boundary of Block XV, Bruce Bay Survey District, and along that boundary and the southern boundary of Block XIV of the said survey district to the south-eastern boundary of Section 2451, and along that boundary and the south - eastern boundary of Section 2450, across a road reserve, a creek, and a road reserve ; thence along the eastern boundaries of Sections 2449 and 2447, and along the northern boundaries of Sections 2447, 2446, and 2445 to the south-eastern corner of Section 2458, and along the eastern boundaries of that section and Section 2457 and the northern boundary of the latter section produced to the right bank of the Mahitahi River ; thence along the said river-bank to the south-eastern boundary of Native Reserve 782, and along the said boundary and the north-eastern boundary of the said Native reserve to the sea-coast ; thence along the sea-coast to the Jacob’s River—Bruce Bay Road ; thence along the southern boundary of the said road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 878 ; and thence across Ruera Creek to and along the said boundary, across the Main South Road, and along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Section 877 to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 32, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
All that area of land in the Westland Land District, situate in Blocks XV and XVI, Paringa Survey District, and Blocks IX, XIII, and XIV, Bruce Bay Survey District, and Blocks I and V, Mount Douglas Survey District, being Reserve 1650, containing 14,100 acres, more or less. Bounded as follows : Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Native Reserve 1100, and proceeding along its northern boundary to the eastern boundary of Section 2003 ; thence along the said eastern boundary produced across Lagoon Creek, and along the right bank of the said creek to the Paringa River, and along the right bank of the said river to its mouth ; thence along the sea-coast to the north-western corner of Weld Town Reserve ; thence along the western and southern boundaries of the said reserve, the latter produced to the left bank of the Mahitahi River, and along the said river-bank to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 2627 ; thence to and along the northern and western boundaries of Section 2627, and along the southern boundary of the said section to the north-eastern corner of Block I, Mount Douglas Survey District ; thence along the eastern boundary of the said block, 14000 links ; thence in a south-westerly direction to a point on the western boundary of Block V, Mount Douglas Survey District, 10000 links from the south-western corner of the said Block V ; thence along the said western boundary and the western boundary of Block I of the said Survey District, 19000 links ; thence in a north-easterly direction to a point 4000 links due west from the south-eastern corner of Block XIII, Bruce Bay Survey District, and along the southern boundary of that block and the southern boundary of Block XVI, Paringa Survey District, 43000 links ; thence in a northerly direction, 6000 links ; and thence to the south-eastern corner of Native Reserve 1100, and along the eastern boundary of that reserve to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 32, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
All that area of land in the Westland Land District, situate in Block XV, Paringa Survey District, being Reserve 1651, containing 1,200 acres, more or less. Bounded as follows : Commencing at the south-west corner of Block XV, Paringa Survey District ; thence along the western boundary of said block to the sea-coast ; thence along the sea-coast to a point in line with the northern boundary of Native Reserve 1102 ; thence to and along the northern boundary and along the western boundary of said reserve, and same produced to the southern boundary of Block XV, Paringa Survey District ; and thence along the southern boundary of said Block XV to point of commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 32, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
All that area of land in Block IV, Mount Douglas Survey District, in the Westland Land District, being Reserve 1652, containing by admeasurement 900 acres, more or less. Commencing at the north-western corner of Block IV of the said survey district, and proceeding along its northern boundary 9000 links ; thence due south, 10000 links ; thence due east to the western boundary of the said Block IV ; and thence along the said western boundary to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 32, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
All that area of land in Block VIII, Abbey Rocks Survey District, in the Westland Land District, being Reserve 1653, containing by admeasurement 200 acres, more or less. Commencing at the most southerly corner of Section 1733 ; thence proceeding along the south-eastern boundary of said section to the most westerly corner of Ferry Reserve 237 ; thence along the south-west boundary of said ferry reserve produced to the north-west boundary of Section 2712 ; thence proceeding southerly along said boundary to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 1733 produced ; and thence by this produced boundary to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 32, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
All that area of land in Block IX, Mount Douglas Survey District, in the Westland Land District, being Reserve 1654, containing by admeasurement 1,600 acres, more or less. Commencing at a point on the western boundary of Block IX, Mount Douglas Survey District, 3800 links north of its south-western corner, and proceeding northerly along the said block boundary, 12700 links ; thence due east 12700 links ; thence due south, 12700 links ; and thence due west to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 32, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
All that area of land in Blocks XI, XV, and XVI, Arnot Survey District, in the Westland Land District, being Reserve 1655, containing by admeasurement 4,800 acres, more or less. Commencing at the mouth of the Moeraki River, and proceeding along its left bank to Lake Moeraki ; thence along the south-western shore of the said lake, and again along the left bank of the Moeraki River to a road reserve fronting Ferry Reserve 235, and along the eastern and northern sides of the said road reserve to a point in line with the north-western boundary of the said reserve ; thence to and along the said north-western boundary and the south-western boundary of the said reserve to the southern boundary of Block XVI, Arnot Survey District ; thence along the said southern boundary to a national-endowment-reserve boundary, and along the said boundary to the sea-coast ; and thence along the sea-coast to the point of commencement.
