thence along the left bank of the said creek to Lake Pratt
and the shores of the said lake and the right bank of the outlet
creek to the Atapau River, and again along the right bank
of that river to its confluence with the Waiho River, and
along the right bank of that river to the sea-coast ; thence
along the sea-coast to the Three-mile Lagoon, and along the
shores of the said lagoon and the western boundary of Ferry
Reserve 66, and again along the sea-coast to a point in
line with the south-western boundary of Okarito Township ;
thence generally along the south-western and south-eastern
boundaries of that township to a point in line with the south-
western boundary of Section 1248 ; and thence across a road
to and along the said south-western boundary to the point of
commencement : except therefrom Alpine Lake. As the
same is delineated on sheet 43, roll plan 450, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered green.

All that area of land in Blocks I, II, V, and VI, Waiho
Survey District, in the Westland Land District, being
Reserve 1641, containing by admeasurement 8,350 acres,
more or less. Commencing at the most westerly corner of
Section 2196, and proceeding along the south-western bound-
aries of the said section and Section 2569 to the southern
boundary of Block VI, Waiho Survey District ; thence along
the said southern boundary and the southern boundary of
Block V of the said survey district and the Waikukupa River,
and along the right bank of that river to a point in line with
the south-eastern boundary of Section 2807 ; thence to and
along that section boundary and the south-eastern boundaries
of Sections 2806, 2805, and 2804 to the most southerly corner
of Section 2792 ; thence across a road, along the south-
western boundaries of Sections 2793, 2794, and 2795, and the
south-easterly boundary of the latter section produced to the
Waiho River ; thence along the left banks of the said river
and Docherty’s Creek to a point in line with the north-western
boundary of Section 2401 ; and thence to and along the said
section boundary and the south-western boundary of the said
section and the north-western boundary of Section 2196 to
the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on
sheet 43, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

All that area of land in Block VIII, Gillespie’s Survey
District, and Block V, Waiho Survey District, in the West-
land Land District, being Reserve 1642, containing by ad-
measurement 3,000 acres, more or less. Commencing at the
south-western corner of Block VIII, Gillespie’s Survey District,
and proceeding due north along the western boundary of the
said block to the sea-coast ; thence along the sea-coast to a
point in line with the southern boundary of Section 2808 ;
thence to and along the said southern boundary and the
southern boundary of Section 2809 produced to the Waiku-
kupa River ; and thence along the left bank of the said river
to the southern boundary of Block V, Waiho Survey District ;
and thence due west to the point of commencement. As the
same is delineated on sheet 43, roll plan 450, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered green.

All that area of land in the Westland Land District,
situate in Blocks VII, IX, X, XI, XIII, XIV, and XV,
Gillespie’s Survey District, being Reserve 1643, containing
16,500 acres, more or less. Bounded as follows : Commencing
at the north-eastern corner of Section 2477, Block XV,
Gillespie’s Survey District, and proceeding along the northern
boundaries of that section and Sections 2476 and 2475 ;
thence across the Gillespie’s—Cook River Road, and again
along the northern boundary of said Section 2475 ; thence
along the western boundary of said section produced to the
right bank of the Clearwater River ; thence along the said
river-bank to a point in line with the eastern boundary of
Section 2437, and to and along the said boundary and the
northern boundaries of the said section and Section 2436,
across a road reserve, and along the northern and western
boundaries of Section 2496, the latter produced to the right
bank of the aforesaid Clearwater River ; thence along that
river-bank and along the right bank of Cook River to a point
in line with the eastern boundary of Reserve 233 ; thence to
and along that boundary and the northern boundary of the
said reserve, the latter produced to the sea-coast ; thence
along the sea-coast to a point in line with the southern
boundary of Reserve 335 ; thence to and along the said
boundary and the eastern boundary of the said reserve pro-
duced to the sea-coast, and again along the sea-coast to a
point in line with the western boundary of Native Reserve
17 ; thence to and along the said boundary and the southern
and eastern boundaries of sa’d Native reserve, the latter
produced to the sea-coast ; thence along the sea-coast to the
eastern boundary of Block VII, Gillespie’s Survey District,
and along the said eastern boundary and the eastern bound-
aries of Blocks XI and XV, Gillespie’s Survey District, to the
right bank of the Clearwater River ; and thence along the
said bank to a point in line with the eastern boundary of
Section 2477, and to and along that boundary to the point

of commencement : save and except therefrom the Gillespie’s
—Cook River Road and an area in Blocks IX, X, XIII, and
XIV, Gillespie’s Survey District, situated between Whelan’s
Creek and Waikohai River, containing 1,000 acres, more or
less. As the same is delineated on sheet 32, roll plan 450,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

All that area of land in Block XVI, Gillespie’s Survey
District, and Blocks IX, X, XIII, and XIV, Waiho
Survey District, in the Westland Land District, being
Reserve 1644, containing by admeasurement 14,800 acres,
more or less. Commencing at the north-eastern corner
of Section 2497, and proceeding along its northern and
western boundaries and across a road reserve to the out-
let of Lake Matheson ; thence along the shores of the said
lake to the right bank of the creek at its outlet, and along
the said creek to the Clearwater River ; thence along the
said river-bank to the western boundary of Block XVI,
Gillespie’s Survey District ; thence along the said western
boundary to the northern boundary of the said block ; thence
along the said northern boundary to the south-western
corner of Block IX; Waiho Survey District, and along that
block boundary to and along the shores of Lake Gibbs, and
again along the said western boundary to the northern
boundary of the said Block IX, and along that boundary
and the northern boundary of Block X, Waiho Survey
District, to the south-western boundary of Section 2570 ;
thence along the said section boundary, and along the south-
eastern boundary of the said Section 2570, 600 links ; thence
due south, 7600 links ; thence in a south-westerly direction
to the north-eastern corner of Reserve 928 ; thence along
the northern boundary of the said reserve produced across
the Omoeroa River and extending 1600 links beyond its left
bank ; thence due south, 8000 links ; thence to the south-
eastern corner of Reserve 338 ; thence along the eastern
boundary of the said reserve produced to the right bank of
the Clearwater River ; thence along the said river-bank to a
point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 2497 ; and
thence across a road reserve, and along the said section
boundary to the point of commencement : except therefrom
Lake Mueller and Lake Gault. As the same is delineated
on sheet 43, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
green.

All that area of land in Block XI, Waiho Survey District,
in the Westland Land District, being Reserve 1645, contain-
ing by admeasurement 300 acres, more or less. Commencing
at the intersection of the northern boundary of Block XI,
Waiho Survey District, with the right bank of the Waiho
River ; thence along the northern boundary of the said
block to the left bank of the Atupau River ; thence along the
said river-bank to the northern boundary of Scenic Reserve
1461 ; thence along the said reserve boundary to a road
reserve fronting Sections 3118 and 3114, and along the said
road reserve to a point in line with the western boundary of
the said Section 3114 ; thence across the said road reserve
and along the right bank of the Waiho River to the point of
commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet 43,
roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

All that area of land in Blocks XIII and XIV, Gillespie’s
Survey District, and Block IV, Bruce Bay Survey District, in
the Westland Land District, being Reserve 1646, containing
by admeasurement 1,600 acres, more or less. Commencing
at the northern corner of Raleigh Township Reserve, and pro-
ceeding to the sea-coast ; thence along the sea-coast to a road
reserve fronting the southern boundary of Reserve 63 ; thence
along the south side of the said road reserve produced to the
right bank of the Oinetamatea River ; thence along the said
river-bank, 3300 links ; thence due east to the left bank of
Cook River ; thence along the said river-bank to the southern
boundary of Block XIV, Gillespie’s Survey District ; thence
along the said southern boundary and the southern boundary
of Block XIII of the said Survey District ; thence along the
eastern boundary of Block IV, Bruce Bay Survey District, to
the right bank of the Karangarua River ; thence along the
said river-bank to the left bank of a creek bounding the
eastern side of the Raleigh Township Reserve ; thence along
the said creek-bank to a point in line with the north-eastern
boundary of the said township reserve ; and thence across the
said creek and along the said north-eastern boundary to the
point of commencement. As the same is delineated on sheet
32, roll plan 450, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

All that area of land in Blocks IV, VII, and VIII, Bruce
Bay Survey District, in the Westland Land District, being
Reserve 1647, containing by admeasurement 5,200 acres, more
or less. Commencing at the most southern corner of Reserve
232, and proceeding along the south-eastern boundary of the
said reserve produced to the left bank of the Karangarua
River ; thence along the said river-bank to the eastern bound-
ary of Block IV, Bruce Bay Survey District ; thence along
the said block boundary and the eastern boundary of Block
