Lands set apart for State Forest Purposes in the Westland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the State Forests Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the forest lands described in the Schedule hereto, forming part of the Crown lands in New Zealand, as and for a State forest within the provisions of the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area of Crown lands in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,100 acres, more or less, being part of Reserve 1462, Block IX, Kanieri Survey District, and bounded as follows:—

Commencing at the most westerly corner of Section 1219, and proceeding along the western boundary of State forest to and across the Hokitika River Road; thence along the western side of the said road to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of Section 835, and along the said north-eastern boundary and the north-western boundary of the said Section 835, and along the south-western boundary and across the Hokitika River Road, and again by the south-western boundary of the said section to the most northerly corner of Section 1945, and along the north-western boundary of that section to the H.O. road line; thence along the said road-line to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 2777; thence to and along the said section boundary across the Seddon Terrace Track, and again along the said northern boundary of Section 2777 to the H.I. road-line; thence along the eastern side of the said H.O. road-line; thence to and across the Seddon Terrace Track and across the H.O. road-line, and along the eastern side of the said Seddon Terrace Track to its junction with Seddon Terrace Road; thence across the said road and proceeding due east to and across the Hokitika River Road; thence along the eastern side of the said road to its intersection with the north-western boundary of Reserve 1462, and along the said boundary to a road reserve fronting the Hokitika River; thence along the said road reserve and along a road reserve fronting the north-western boundary of Section 1139; thence along the said road reserve to a point in line with the south-western boundary of the said Section 1139; thence to and along the said boundary to the north-western boundary of Section 1219, and thence along the said boundary to point of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of September, 1920.

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 14 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.


SCHEDULE.

HURAKIA No. 5B Block, Mangaoropo Survey District: Approximate area, 4 acres 3 roods 17 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of October, 1920.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.


SCHEDULE.

HOEHOE 1892 Act leases, Sale No. 1, being Subdivision 2, and the northern part of Subdivision 4 of Section 152, Block VI, Paritutu Survey District: Area, 19 acres 0 roods 24 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of October, 1920.
