SOUTH HAUTAPU DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the South Hautapu Drainage Board held on the 12th day of June, 1920, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at a special meeting of the Board to be held at the Board's office on Monday, the 12th day of July, at 10.30 a.m.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, the Rating Act, 1908, and the Drainage Act, 1908, and their amendments, the South Hautapu Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and all other charges on the loan of £100, authorized to be raised by the South Hautapu Drainage Board, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of piping about twelve chains of the main drain (the currency of the loan to be for 36½ years, and the rate of interest at 4½ per centum per annum), the said South Hautapu Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/12th of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property within the South Hautapu Drainage District; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of August in each and every year, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
