A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in Gazette of the eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, certain lands in the Karangarua Survey District, in the Westland Land District, were, inter alia, set apart as and for provisional State forests in terms of section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918:
And whereas the lands described in the Schedule hereto (being part of the lands so set apart) are required for settlement, and it is expedient that the said Proclamation should be rescinded in so far as it relates to the lands described in the said Schedule:
Now, therefore, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by clauses (b) and (c) of subsection (3) of section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby rescind the Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, hereinbefore referred to, in so far as it relates to the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Description of Land to be withdrawn from Provisional State Forests.
ALL that area of land in the Westland Land District, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1683, situate in Blocks II, V, and VI, Karangarua Survey District, and containing 958 acres, more or less, bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-west corner of Section 909, Block VI, Karangarua Survey District; thence on a bearing of 328° for a distance of 3586·1 links; thence on a bearing of 346° for a distance of 5050 links; thence on a bearing of 76° for a distance of 1800 links to the Oinetamatea River; thence generally in an easterly direction following along the southern bank of the said Oinetamatea River and the Havelock Creek to a road-line; thence along the southern and western sides of said road to the most northern corner of Section 915; thence in a south-westerly direction along the north-western boundaries of Sections 915, 914, 913, and 909 to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on plan marked 6/13/4, deposited in the Head Office of the Forestry Department, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of September, 1920.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 25 acres 0 roods 24 perches, more or less, being Section No. 42, Block XV, Ngaiere Survey District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/234, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of September, 1920.
