LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

EVIDENCE of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 255, folio 281, of the Register-book, in favour of ALICE TYREE, for part Lot 212 on plan 7525, part Allotment 238B, Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland, having been lodged with me, and application made to issue a provisional certificate of title, notice is hereby given of my intention to issue a provisional certificate of title accordingly at the expiration of fourteen days from the 9th day of September, 1920.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Canterbury, a body corporate, incorporated under the provisions of the Education Act, 1914, proposes to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and its amendments, for educational purposes—that is to say, for the extension of the Temuka District High School grounds,—

(1.) All that parcel of land situated in the Township of Arowhenua, being Town Section numbered 199 on the map of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch, containing by admeasurement one rood;

(2.) All that parcel of land situated in the Township of Arowhenua, being Town Section numbered 200 on the map of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch, containing by admeasurement one rood;

(3.) All that parcel of land situated in the Township of Arowhenua, being Town Section numbered 201 on the map of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch, containing by admeasurement one rood;

as the same three parcels of land are delineated on the plan mentioned below, and therein coloured green.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the land required to be taken, and the names of the owners and occupiers of such land, is deposited at the offices of the Temuka Borough Council, Temuka, Canterbury, where it lies open for public inspection daily (without fee) during all reasonable hours; and that all persons affected shall, if they have any objection to the taking of such land, set forth in writing such objection, and send such writing, within forty days from the date of the first publication of such notice, being the third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, addressed to the Chairman of the Education Board of the District of Canterbury, at the office of the Board, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch.

WELLINGTON RETURNED SOLDIERS’ CLUBHOUSE SOCIETY (INCORPORATED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting of the members of the above society held at its clubhouse, 292 Lambton Quay, Wellington, on 19th July, 1920, the undermentioned resolution was passed, and that this resolution was confirmed at a subsequent general meeting called for that purpose and held at the same place on 30th August, 1920:—

“That, with a view to handing over the property of the Clubhouse Society to the Wellington Returned Soldiers’ Association (Incorporated), the Wellington Returned Soldiers’ Clubhouse Society (Incorporated) be wound up voluntarily.”
