Declaring Portion of Road in Block XVI, Tairua Survey District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of September, 1920.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a Government road: 1 acre 1 rood 35 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 2, Block XVI, Tairua Survey District. (S.O. 21064.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49160, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Portions of Roads in Block IV, Maramarua Survey District, to be Government Roads.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the pieces of roads declared to be Government roads: 5 acres 1 rood 22·5 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 8 and 16, Maramarua Parish, Block IV, Maramarua Survey District. (S.O. 21128.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49251, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Extension of Time for Preparation of County Rolls, &c., County of Ohura.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of September, 1920.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS it has been made to appear that the preparation of the rolls for the County of Ohura, and the taking of certain steps consequent on such preparation, cannot be made and taken within the times mentioned in the Counties Act, 1908, and it is expedient to extend the said times respectively:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said Counties Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the several dates mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be the respective dates for taking the several steps set out in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

  1. For preparing the rolls for the ridings within the County of Ohura: Until the 6th day of September, 1920.
  2. Time for which such rolls shall be open for inspection: From the 10th day of September, 1920, to the 29th day of September, 1920.
  3. Time for appeals against the said rolls: Until the 6th day of October, 1920.
  4. Revision Courts may sit for hearing applications with reference to the said rolls, and adjourn: Until the 13th day of October, 1920.
  5. Time when the said rolls, having been duly corrected and signed, shall come into force: On the 18th day of October, 1920.

Stark Street, in the Borough of Wanganui, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of September, 1920.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wanganui Borough Council on the sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty—namely, “The Wanganui Borough Council hereby resolves that section one hundred and seventeen, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to Stark Street for the entire length of such street, that is to say, from Fife Street to No. 2 Line”; such street being described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that street known as Stark Street, in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Wanganui, situated between Fife Street and No. 2 Line. As the said street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49476, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The North-eastern Side of Portion of Main Street and the North-western Side of Portion of Public Road, in the Waimea County, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waimea County Council on the eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty—namely, “The Waimea County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads fronting the south-eastern and the south-western boundaries of Section 85, Block XII, Wai-iti Survey District, hereby resolves that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the following portions of the said road, (1) from the south-easternmost corner of the said Section 85 and along the south-eastern boundary thereof for
