TAURANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Tauranga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Tauranga Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for tar-sealing streets and asphalting footpaths in the borough, the said Tauranga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¾d. in the pound sterling on the annual value of all rateable property of the Borough of Tauranga, comprising the whole of the said borough; and that such special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

ONE-TREE HILL ROAD BOARD.

SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the One-tree Hill Road Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,800, authorized to be raised by the One-tree Hill Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for extending the water-supply throughout the area specified, the said One-tree Hill Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the special rating area of the One-tree Hill Road District, bounded, commencing at the junction of Campbell Road and Great South Road, towards the north by the Great South Road to the junction of Church Road with the Great South Road; thence by Church Road to the boundary of the Borough of Onehunga; thence along towards the south by the boundary between the said borough and the One-tree Hill Road District to Campbell Road; and thence by Campbell Road to the commencing-point. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £7,000, authorized to be raised by the One-tree Hill Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for making additions to the existing waterworks plant by the installation of dechlorinating filters and new machinery, the said One-tree Hill Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-twelfth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the One-tree Hill Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
