THE following notices, received from the Chairman of the Board of the Manurewa Town District, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

MANUREWA TOWN BOARD.
Results of Polls on Proposals to raise Loans.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Town District of Manurewa was taken on the 21st day of August, 1920, on the proposal of the Manurewa Town Board to borrow the sum of £8,000 for the construction, reconstruction, and metalling of roads, and for the formation and surfacing of footpaths.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 107, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 18; informal, 1: total, 126.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Manurewa Town District was taken on the 21st day of August, 1920, on the proposal of the Manurewa Town Board to borrow the sum of £2,000 for the purpose of acquiring land for recreation purposes and public park.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 86, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 37; informal, 3: total, 126.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Woodville was taken on the 28th day of July, 1920, on the proposal of the Woodville County Council to borrow the sum of £10,000 for the purpose of scarifying, grading, remetalling, rolling, and tarring twenty-one miles, more or less, of main road.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 192, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 114.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
