by a line parallel to Maxwell Line to junction with N.W.
boundary of Lot 11, Section 373, Block XIV, Kairanga
Survey District; thence in a S.W. direction by N.W. boundary
of last-named lot and Lot 13 to junction with Maxwell Road;
thence in a S.E. direction by said road to junction with
Manawatu River; thence in a N.E. direction by said river to
junction with S.E. corner of Lot 4, Section 374, Block XIV,
Kairanga Survey District; thence in a N.W. direction by
N.E. boundary of said lot and Lots 4 and 3 of Section 373,
Lots 11, 1A, and 1 of Section 372 of said block, and Lot 2 of
Section 371, Block X, Kairanga Survey District, to point of
commencement. And that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable
yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.

WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and
of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Whaka-
tane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest
and sinking fund and other charges on the Whakatane Borough
Council Electric-power Plant Loan of £24,000, 1920, autho-
rized to be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned
Act, for the purpose of the installation of an electric-power
plant, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of one penny and five-eighths of a penny in the pound
sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital
value) or all rateable property in the Borough of Whakatane;
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the first day of October in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and
one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIROA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Wairoa County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the interest and
repayment of principal and other charges on a loan of two
thousand pound (£2,000), authorized to be raised by the
Wairoa County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act,
1913, for the purpose of providing portion of the cost of
constructing two traffic suspension bridges across the Waiau
River to give access to the Tutaekuri Block and the construc-
tion of about one mile of dray-road through Tutaekuri 1c 4
and 1c 5 Blocks, the said Wairoa County Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of three-farthings (¾d.) in the
pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the
capital value) of all rateable property of the Tutaekuri
Special Rating District, bounded as follows: Commencing at
a point where the Waiau and Tutaekuri Rivers join; thence
following the Tutaekuri River to a point where the south-
eastern boundary of Tutaekuri 1c 4 Block touches; thence
following the southern boundaries of Tutaekuri 1c 4, 1c 5,
1c 8, 1c 6, 1c 10, 1c 9, and 1c 12 Blocks in a generally
westerly direction and the western boundary of Tutaekuri
1c 12 Block to its intersection with the southern boundary of
Tutaekuri 1c 11 Block; thence following the southern bound-
ary of Tutaekuri 1c 11 Block to the Waiau River; thence
following the Waiau River to the point of commencement;
and comprising all the land in Tutaekuri 1A, 1B, 1C 1, 1C 2,
1C 4, 1C 5, 1C 6, 1C 7, 1C 8, 1C 9, 1C 10, 1C 11, 1C 12, 1C 13,
1C 14, 1C 15, 1C 16, 1C 17, 1C 18, 1C 19, Tutaekuri No. 2 and
Tutaekuri No. 3 Blocks. And that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.

CITY OF AUCKLAND.
SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on the loan of ten thousand pounds, authorized to be
raised by the Auckland City Council, under the above-
mentioned Act, for erecting workers’ dwellings, the said
Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate
of one-eighth of a penny in the pound upon the annual
rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Auckland;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of July in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIPUKURAU COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by
the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other
powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Waipukurau County
Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest and sinking fund and other charges on the Waipuku-
rau County Council’s Bridge Re-erection Loan, 1920, autho-
rized to be raised by the county, under the above-mentioned
Act, for the purpose of paying the county’s share of the
re-erection of the Waipukurau traffic-bridge in reinforced
concrete (£2,000), the said County Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of 1/22nd of a penny in the pound on the
rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all
rateable property in the Waipukurau County; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first
day of February and August in each year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan be
fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Hastings Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking
fund and other charges on a loan of £1,360, being ten per
cent. additional on the loan of £13,600 authorized to be
raised by the Hastings Borough Council, the said Hastings
Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
one-sixtieth of a penny in the pound on the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
in the Borough of Hastings, comprising the whole of the said
borough; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the
first day of April in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.
