- VARIATION IN CONDITIONS OF LICENSE.
The terms and conditions of this license may at any time or from time to time, at the request or with the consent in writing of the licensee, be altered by the Governor-General by Order in Council.
- SURRENDER OF LICENSE.
The licensee may at any time, with the consent of the Minister, surrender this license.
- REQUIREMENTS OF PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained, the licensee shall not be entitled to construct, maintain, or use the works authorized by the license within the Patea County, except subject to such conditions, not inconsistent with the provisions of this license or any variation of this license, as may from time to time be agreed upon between the licensee and the Patea County Council.

O’Connell Street, in the City of Auckland, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of August, 1920.

His Excellency the Administrator presiding in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the twenty-second day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, viz. : “That the Auckland City Council doth hereby declare that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to O’Connell Street in the City of Auckland,” such street being described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
All that street in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as O’Connell Street, situated between Shortland Street and Chancery Street. As the said street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 47913, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The Northern Side of Portion of Summer Street, in the City of Auckland, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of August, 1920.

His Excellency the Administrator presiding in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty—viz., “The Auckland City Council, having control of Summer Street in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the portion of the said street fronting Lots 24 and 25 of Allotment 29 of Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland”; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall be erected at any time on the northern side of the said portion of street (which is more particularly described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of twenty-five feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
The northern side of all that portion of Summer Street, situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, abutting on Lot 25 of Allotment 29 of Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48897, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The Western Side of Portion of Cutfield Road, in the Borough of New Plymouth, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty—viz., “That the New Plymouth Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the street hereinafter mentioned, hereby resolves and declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that part of the western side of Cutfield Road to which subdivisions numbered two to seven (both inclusive) of Allotments 25 and 26, Town Belt A, have frontage”; such portion of street being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto.

The western side of all that portion of Cutfield Road, situated in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, abutting on Subdivisions 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of Allotments 25 and 26, Town Belt A, New Plymouth. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49317, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.
