Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Putaruru Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of August, 1920.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain :

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the Putaruru Domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

CHARLES GABRIEL ALLAN,
FREDERICK CHARLES BARNETT,
FREDICE CLAUDE FLYGER,
WILLIAM COLLINGBOURNE HEWITT, and
ARTHUR RICHARD VOSPER

to be the Putaruru Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Hall, Putaruru, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

PUTARURU DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 68 acres, more or less, being Section 32, Block XI, Patetere North Survey District. As the same is delineated on plan marked L. and S. 1/654, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Declaring Portions of Road in Blocks VIII and IX, Lillburn Survey District, to be a Government Road.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of August, 1920.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS, by Order in Council dated the sixteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and one, and gazetted on the twenty-sixth day of September, then instant, regulations were made under the authority of the Post Office Act, 1900, prescribing the time for which paid money-orders and paid postal notes, and for which deposit-books, deposit-slips, withdrawal notices, warrants, receipts, and other books, forms, and documents relating to the Post Office Savings-bank, shall be retained in the custody of the Postmaster-General, and the mode in which they shall thereafter be destroyed: And whereas it is expedient to revoke the said regulations and to make other regulations in lieu thereof :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities in that behalf enabling him, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the above-recited Order in Council and the regulations thereby made, and in lieu thereof doth make the regulations set forth in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby further order that such revocation and the regulations hereby made shall take effect on the date of the publication of this Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette.
