Revocation of an Order in Council prohibiting all Alienation
of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of
the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of
August, 1920.
Present:
His EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-three of
the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that any
Order in Council made under that section may at any time
be varied or revoked:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke
the Order in Council under section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, dated the twenty-eighth
day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and
gazetted the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty, affecting Otawa No. 2 Block, Maketu Survey
District, containing 1,580 acres.

Revoking the Naturalization of John Alach.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
August, 1920.

His EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS letters of naturalization were issued to
John Alach on the twenty-fifth day of April, one
thousand nine hundred and fourteen:
And whereas the Administrator of the Government in
Council is satisfied that it is expedient for the welfare of the
Realm to revoke the naturalization of the said John Alach:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities vested in him by the Revocation of Natural-
ization Act, 1917, His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the naturalization of
the said John Alach shall be revoked, and that the said
John Alach shall cease to be a British subject naturalized in
New Zealand as from the nineteenth day of August, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Cox Street, in the City of Christchurch, exempted from the Pro-
visions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject
to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of
August, 1920.

His EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Adminis-
trator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the
following resolution passed by the Christchurch City Council
on the nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty—viz., “The Christchurch City Council, being
the local authority having control of Cox Street, St. Albans
Ward of the City of Christchurch, hereby declares that the
provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public
Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the said street”;subject
to the condition that no building or part of a building shall
be erected at any time on either side of the said street (which
is more particularly described in the Schedule hereto) within
a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said
street.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that street in the Canterbury Land District, City of
Christchurch, St. Albans Ward, known as Cox Street, situated
between Constance Street and Milsom Street. As the said
street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 49295, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and
thereon coloured pink edged red.

from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act,
1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

trator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the

twenty--viz., “The Christchurch City Council, being the

Ward of the City of Christchurch, hereby declares that the

street lying between Shrewsbury Street and Hewitts Road”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall be erected at any time on either side of the said portion
of street (which is more particularly described in the Schedule
hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-
line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of street in the Canterbury Land District,
City of Christchurch, St. Albans Ward, known as Andover
Street, situated between Hewitt’s Road and Shrewsbury
Street. As the said portion of street is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49133, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in
the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink
edged red.

Appointment of Member of Christchurch Coal Trade Committee.

IN pursuance of the authority conferred by the regulations
made on the fifth day of February, one thousand nine
hundred and seventeen, under the War Regulations Amend-
ment Act, 1916 (and known as the Coal Trade Regulations),
as amended by further regulations made under the like
authority on the twenty-eighth day of August, one thousand
nine hundred and seventeen, His Excellency the Admini-
strator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand
doth hereby appoint
FRANCIS ARTHUR NALDER, Esquire,
to be a member of the Christchurch Coal Trade Committee,
constituted by Warrant dated the second day of October, one
thousand nine hundred and seventeen, in the place of Arnaud
McKellar, Esquire, resigned.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, this 12th day of August, 1920.

Protection Act, 1908, I, Robert Stout, the Adminis-
trator of the Government of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby make the following regulations pre-
scribing the conditions under which certain red-deer may
be destroyed in the Wellington Acclimatization District.
