Prohibition of Money-order and Postal Correspondence for J. Stump and M. Stump, Hobart.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the persons whose names and addresses are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 28 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, that no money-orders in favour of the said persons shall be issued, and that no postal packets addressed to the said persons (either by their own or any fictitious or assumed names) shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks V and IX, Aroha Survey District, for the Purpose of a Road.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in Blocks V and IX, Aroha Survey District; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Te Aroha, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XII, Mangatu Survey District, for the Purposes of a Post-office.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a post-office in Block XII, Mangatu Survey District; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Gisborne, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Being Section 44, Whatatutu Township (part Whatatutu B 3A 1).
Situated in Block XII, Mangatu Survey District. (Poverty Bay R.D.).
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48737 (sheet 1), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.

Result of Election of a Member of the Petone Fire Board by Fire-insurance Companies.

Notice respecting Proposed Borough of Otaki.

Wellington, 11th August, 1920.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, it is hereby notified that a petition, in accordance with regulations, signed by not less than one-fifth of the electors of the area described in the Schedule hereto, has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, praying that the said area may be constituted a borough under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed constitution within one month from the first publication of this notice. Such objections or petitions are to be addressed and forwarded to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
PROPOSED BOROUGH OF OTAKI.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of the Waitohu Stream in Block V, Waitohu Survey District, and proceeding thence up the middle of the said stream to the western side of the Ringawhati Road; thence south-westerly along that roadside to and along the south-eastern boundary of the Turangarahui Block and the production of the last-named boundary to the middle of the most northern channel of the Otaki River; thence down the middle of that channel and the middle of the Otaki River to its mouth, and north-easterly along the sea-coast to the point of commencement.

IN accordance with the provisions of the Education Act, 1914, it is hereby publicly notified that the following persons have been duly elected as members of the Education Board of the District of Southland:—
