Amending Table of Fees to be taken in respect of Proceedings in the Magistrates’ Courts under the Imprisonment for Debt Limitation Act, 1908.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of August, 1920.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Imprisonment for Debt Limitation Act, 1908, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the table of fees as prescribed in Appendix B to the rules and regulations made under the said Act by Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and referred to in rule number forty-four of the said rules and regulations, and in lieu thereof doth hereby prescribe the table of fees set forth in the Schedule hereto as the fees to be taken in respect of proceedings under the said Act; and doth declare that this Order in Council shall take effect as from the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty.

Mileage for service of any summons or order, for the first eight miles beyond one mile from the Courthouse or police-station from which service is to be effected, 1s. per mile; and for each additional mile 6d. per mile, to the residence or place of business of defendant, or the place where service takes place, or actual expenses, at the discretion of the Magistrate.
Mileage for execution of any warrant, 1s. a mile from the Courthouse from which the warrant is executed to residence of defendant, or actual expenses, at the discretion of the Magistrate; and actual expenses of bailiff and defendant from the place of arrest to the prison named in the warrant, and of the bailiff from the said prison to his residence.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of August, 1920.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty-six of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council gazetted, on the recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908:
And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the Purua Kauri-gum Reserve Extension described in the Schedule hereto be excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section forty-six of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the Purua Kauri-gum Reserve Extension described in the Schedule hereto shall, from the twelfth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, situated in Block II, Purua Survey District, and containing by ad-
measurement 300 acres, more or less, being the Purua Kauri-gum Reserve Extension as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 79, of the 28th September, 1899, page 1836; excepting an area of 1,300 acres which has been withdrawn from the reserve.

Springs-Ellesmere Electric-power Board — First Election.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council dated the twenty-sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 70, of the twenty-ninth day of the same month, appointing Thursday, the twelfth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, as the day on which shall be held the first election of representatives of the constituent districts in the Springs-Ellesmere Electric-power District, and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, as the day on which shall be held the first election of representatives of the constituent districts in the said Springs-Ellesmere Electric-power District.
