been dissolved as from the 31st day of July, 1920, by mutual
consent. The business will in future be carried on by Messrs.
LEON WILLIAM WILKINS and MELVILLE WILKINS as “Wilkins
Brothers,” and all liabilities of “Wilkins and Milne” will be
met by WILKINS BROTHERS, to whom all debts due to the
Partnership of “Wilkins and Milne” are payable.

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908; and in
the matter of the taking by the Kairanga County Council,
under the said Act, of Allotments 242 and 243 on
deposited plan 12, being parts Sections 78, 79, Block
II, Arawaru Survey District, for the purpose of
erecton of workmen's cottages.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the
powers vested in local authorities by, and of the
provisions contained in, the Public Works Act, 1908, the
Kairanga County Council, a County Council incorporated
under the Counties Act, and having its office in the building
occupied by Messrs. Rutherford and Connell, Rangitikei
Street, Palmerston North, intends at the expiration of forty
days from the 4th day of August, 1920, being the date of
first publication of this notice, to take under the Public
Works Act, 1908, that piece or parcel of land more par-
ticularly described in the schedule hereunder written, and
as shown on a plan of the said piece of land edged with red,
which said plan is deposited in the office of the said
Kairanga County Council, and open for inspection there
and at the store of Mr. A. H. Beckett at Linton of all
persons at all reasonable hours.
The works proposed to be erected by the said County
Council are the erection of workmen's cottages.
And take notice that all persons affected by the con-
struction of the said work or the taking of the said land
are required to set forth in writing any well-grounded
objection to the execution of such works or to the taking of
such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from
the said 4th day of August, 1920, to the Kairanga County
Council.

APPROXIMATE area of land required to be taken : 2 acres.
Being Allotments 242 and 243 on D.P. 12, being parts
Sections 78 and 79, Block II, Arawaru Survey District.
Shown on plan marked 1562, and bordered red thereon.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between HERBERT LANGFORD and JOHN
RHIND, carrying on business as Undertakers at Christchurch
under the style or firm of “Langford and Rhind,” has been
dissolved by mutual consent as from the thirty-first day of
July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, from which
date all debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be
received and paid respectively by the said JOHN RHIND, who
will continue to carry on the said business under the style or
firm of “John Rhind” (late “Langford and Rhind”).
