DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between us, the undersigned, CHARLES WEL- LERSEN MAYER and HAROLD JOHN FRANK, as general Carriers, Hawera, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the thirteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty (1920).
All accounts owing to the late Partnership should be paid to, and all debts owing by the Partnership will be paid by, HAROLD JOHN FRANK, who will carry on the said business from the above date on his own account.

UNDER THE MINING ACT, 1908.

PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1908, the undersigned Edward John Iverson, of Earnscleugh, Settler, hereby applies for a license for a dry race as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.

Iverson, then running in an easterly direction for a distance of 500 yards on to applicant's freehold, thence continuing in an easterly direction through applicant's property for a distance of 800 yards, and terminating on applicant's land.
Length and intended course of race : 1,300 yards easterly.
Points of intake : One.
Estimated time and cost of construction : Already constructed.
Mean depth and breadth : 2 ft. wide, 1 ft. deep.
Purpose for which water is to be used : irrigation.
Proposed term of license : forty-two years.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between JOHN W. SHEARER and WILLIAM A. EASTGATE, carrying on business as Land Estate and Insurance Agents under the style of "Shearer and Eastgate," has been dissolved by mutual consent.
In future Mr. EASTGATE will carry on the Land and Estate Agency and Secretaryships in his own name and on his own account, and Mr. SHEARER will retain the Insurance connection.

MANGAPAPA TOWN BOARD.
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL OF ADOPTING THE SYSTEM OF RATING ON THE UNIMPROVED VALUE IN THE MANGAPAPA TOWN BOARD DISTRICT.
In the matter of the Town Boards Act, 1908, and of the Rating Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same respectively.
I HEREBY give notice that on the first day of Juily, 1920, a proposal was submitted by the Mangapapa Town Board to the ratepayers of the Mangapapa Town District : "That henceforth the system of rating property on the basis of the unimproved value thereof to adopted in the Mangapapa Town Board District," and the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows : For the proposal, 244 ; against the proposal, 80; informal, 4.
And I therefore declare the said proposal to be carried by 164 votes.
