THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the Board of the Ohaupo Town District, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

OHAUPO TOWN BOARD.
IN pursuance of section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Ohaupo Town District was taken on the 21st day of July, 1920, upon the proposal of the Ohaupo Town Board to borrow the sum of £3,000 by way of special loan for the purpose of erecting and constructing a hall for public meetings and recreation purposes, and as a memorial for fallen soldiers, with public offices for the Board, including all necessary labour, materials, plans, and supervision.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 29, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 11. I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

THE following notice, received from the Acting-Chairman of the Council of the County of Oroua, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

OROUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of ratepayers of the County of Oroua was taken on the 2nd day of July, 1920, on the proposal of the Oroua County Council to borrow the sum of £5,000 for the purpose of purchasing roadmaking machinery.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 260, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 18.
I therefore declare the proposal was carried.

Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Tamahere Road District taken on 23rd day of July, 1920, on the proposal of the Tamahere Road Board to borrow the sum of £33,000 for the purpose of putting down bituminous on various roads in the Tamahere Road District, and to include the purchase of modern roading machinery, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 165, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 57; informal, 1.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Nightcaps Town District was taken on the 17th day of April, 1920, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £1,200 for additions and alterations to the Coronation Hall.
The total number of votes recorded was 40. The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 34, and the number recorded against the proposal was 6.
I therefore declare the proposal carried.
