A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in the Westland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the eighteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twentieth day of that month, certain land in the Westland Land District was set apart for scenic purposes under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto (being part of the land so set apart) is no longer suitable for scenic purposes, being open or scrub land:

Now, therefore, I, Robert Stout, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land in the Westland Land District, containing 23 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less, situated in Block VII, Waiho Survey District, and being part of Scenic Reserve No. 1369, bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 2976, Block VII, Waiho Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 857·3 links to main South Road; thence in a south-westerly direction along the west side of said main
