NAPIER WOOLLEN COMPANY (LIMITED).
IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of
the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of
the members of the above-named company will be held at
the office of McCulloch and Butler, Queen Street, Hastings,
on Monday, 16th day of August, 1920, at 3 o’clock in the
afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before
them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been
conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and of
hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liqui-
dator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution
the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents
of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be dis-
posed of.

MATAURA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the
Mataura Borough Council held on the thirty-first day
of May, 1920, the following resolution was duly carried :—
In pursuance of and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of
all other powers (if any) thereunto enabling it, the Mataura
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows,—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges of the Mataura
Borough Electric-light Loan, 1920, of £1,100, authorized to
be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of the reconstruction and extension of the
electric-light works of the Borough of Mataura, the said
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and
three-quarters pence in the pound sterling on the rateable
value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable pro-
perty in the Borough of Mataura; and that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately
subsisting between us, the undersigned, JOHN CHARLES
MILN and DOROTHY ROBINSON, carrying on business at
Yaldhurst as Farmers, under the style of “Miln and Robinson,”
was on the twelfth day of May, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty, dissolved by mutual agreement.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership hitherto existing between FRANK ARTHUR
ABBOTT, CHARLES HAROLD ABBOTT, FRANCIS GORE
FOOTE, and CHARLES WILLIAM FOOTE, Soft-goods Warehouse-
men, trading as “Abbott, Foote, and Jones,” has been
dissolved by mutual consent as from 19th July, 1920.
The liabilities of the late firm will be discharged by FRANK
ARTHUR ABBOTT and CHARLES HAROLD ABBOTT, of the firm
of “Abbott, Armstrong, and Howie,” who will continue the
business at the late firm’s warehouse, 15 Elliot Street, Auck-
land, and to whom all debts due to the late firm are payable.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
existing between the undersigned, who carried on the
business of Manufacturers’ Agents at 115, Worcester Street,
Christchurch, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from
this date. All debts due to the late firm will be collected by
P. G. FORDE at the above address, and all liabilities will be
discharged by him.
