The South-western Side of Portion of Road adjoining Parts of Suburban Sections 3 and 4, Ahuriri Harbour District, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of July, 1920.

Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR ROBERT STOUT PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Dominion of New Zealand, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the said Dominion doth hereby approve the following resolution passed by the Hawke's Bay County Council on the fourteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty—viz., "The Hawke's Bay County Council, being the local authority having control of the road or street lying between the Inner Harbour and Suburban Sections 3 and 4, Ahuriri Harbour District, hereby resolves that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that part of the said road or street abutting on those parts of said Suburban Sections 3 and 4, Ahuriri Harbour District, owned by Helen Hoadley"—in so far as such resolution refers to the south-western side of the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

THE south-western side of all that portion of road, situated in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Hawke's Bay County, adjoining parts of Suburban Sections 3 and 4, Ahuriri Harbour District. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48998, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of July, 1920.

Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR ROBERT STOUT PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty-six of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council gazetted on the recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908:

And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the Waipu Kauri-gum Reserve described in the Schedule hereto be excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section forty-six of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the Waipu Kauri-gum Reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall, from the twenty-second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing 1,420 acres, more or less, situated in the Parish of Waipu, and being the Waipu Kauri-gum Reserve as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 56, of the 29th June, 1899, page 1214, excepting an area of 820 acres which has been withdrawn from the reserve. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/120, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of July, 1920.

Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR ROBERT STOUT PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Education Act, 1914, and its amendments, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the amendment set out below in the regulation relating to manual and technical instruction (hereafter referred to as "the said regulation") made by Order in Council dated the fifteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen; and doth prescribe that this Order shall come into force on the date of the first publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

AMENDMENT.

THE words "31st day of December, 1919," are hereby deleted from the said regulation, and the words "31st day of December, 1920," substituted therefor.
