At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of
July, 1920.

THE HONOURABLE SIR ROBERT STOUT PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909; and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His
Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of
this Order in Council, all alienation of the Native lands speci-
fied in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour
of the Crown.

of New Plymouth, exempted from the Provisions of Section
117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of

THE HONOURABLE SIR ROBERT STOUT PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amend-
ment Act, 1911, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the Dominion of
New Zealand, His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the said Dominion doth hereby approve the
following resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough
Council on the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-viz., “That the New Plymouth
Borough Council, being the local authority having control
of the street hereinafter mentioned, hereby resolves and
declares that the provisions of section one hundred and
seventeen, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1908,
shall not apply to that part of the southern side of Gaine
Street to which the subdivisions numbered respectively 1, 2,
and 3 of part Town Belt A, containing together 1 rood 27-86
perches, more or less, and comprised in certificate of title,
Vol. 24, folio 17, have frontages ”—in so far as such resolu-
tion refers to the southern side of the portion of street
described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
THE southern side of all that portion of Gaine Street, situated
in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth,
abutting on Subdivisions 1, 2, and 3 of part Town Belt A,
New Plymouth. As the said portion of street is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48824,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured blue.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve for a Quarry in the Ohura
County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of
July, 1920.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR ROBERT STOUT PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been set aside as a quarry reserve: And whereas
it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be
vested in the Ohura County Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of
the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the
powers and authorities conferred upon him by section. two
of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act,
1914, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve
in the Ohura County Council, subject, however, to the
following condition: That the Minister of Public Works,
his officers, servants, or contractors, shall have the right
at any time to take metal from the said reserve, free
of charge, for use in the construction and maintenance of
public roads in the vicinity of the said reserve.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing
25 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being part of Sec-
tion 5, Block XIII, Ariia Survey District. As the same is
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 612, deposited in
the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered blue.
