OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £5,000 (five thousand pounds), authorized to be raised by the Otamatea County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of forming, metalling, and improving the roads in the Tokatoka Riding of the Otamatea County, the said Otamatea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property lying within the Tokatoka Riding of the Otamatea County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

AWAKINO COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Awakino County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Awakino County Council Marakopa Wharf Loan of £450, 1920, authorized to be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of acquiring the Marakopa Wharf at Marakopa, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixth (1/6th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Marakopa Riding of the Awakino County; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

AWAKINO COUNTY COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Awakino County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of five thousand pounds, authorized to be raised by the Awakino County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting workers’ dwellings, the said Awakino County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixth (1/6th) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of a district comprising the whole of the County of Awakino; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

LEASE IN PERPETUITY.

APPLICATION having been made to the Westland Land Board for the issue of a copy of Lease in Perpetuity No. 303, over Section 5, Block XXXII, Runanga Township, whereof ANDREW LEES is the registered lessee, and evidence of loss of the original lease having been lodged, I hereby give notice that I will issue a new lease unless objections be lodged forbidding the same within fourteen days after the publication of this notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between SAMUEL ANDREWS, of Wellington, Restaurant-keeper, and VASELES STAMELATOS, of Wellington, Restaurant-keeper, carrying on business as Restaurant-keepers at No. 26 Courtenay Place, Wellington, has been dissolved as from the date hereof so far as concerns the said VASELES STAMELATOS, who retires from the said Partnership.

NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary general meeting of the above company will be held at the office of the Liquidator, No. 219 Victoria Arcade, Queen Street, Auckland, on Tuesday, the 17th day of August, 1920, at the hour of three o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of laying before such meeting the Liquidator’s account showing his acts and dealings, and the manner in which the winding-up of the company has been conducted and its assets disposed of.
