THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the
Council of the County of Raglan, is published in
accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans
Act, 1913.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 12 of the Local
Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that the
following is the result of a poll of the ratepayers of the Roto-
ngaro Special Rating District taken on the 3rd day of July,
1920, on the proposal to borrow the sum of Β£600 for the
purpose of forming a new road through Section 79, Parish
of Whangape, in the Roto-ngaro Special Rating District of
the County of Raglan : Total number of valid votes recorded,
10-for the proposal, 10 ; against the proposal, nil.
The total number of valid votes recorded in favour of the
proposal being more than three-fifths of the total number of
valid votes recorded, I hereby declare the proposal to be
carried.

Borough of Cromwell, is published in accordance with
the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913.

BOROUGH OF CROMWELL.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the
Borough of Cromwell taken on this 30th day of June, 1920,
on the proposal of the Cromwell Borough Council to borrow
the sum of Β£1,200 for the purpose of piping Mount Pisa water
across McFelin's Gully, for the borough water-supply, the
number of votes recorded for the proposal was 45, and the
number of votes recorded against the proposal was 2.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
